Japanese watch company Seiko has teamed up with George Lucas 80′s universal soap opera Star Wars. Drawing inspiration from these cult science fiction series, Seiko has reinvented time…pieces, featuring futuristic designs paying homage to iconic intergalactic characters such as R2-D2, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, C-3PO, Storm Trooper and Yoda. Star Wars: Identities Exhibition Montreal

Here is an inside look into Star Wars: Identities Exhibition by X3 Productions, in collaboration with the Montreal Science Centre and LucasFilm Ltd. Which has its world premiere Thursday (today) April 19, 2012 at the Montreal Science Centre. Weather you’re a fan of the science fiction movie or not you will definitely be able to appreciate to sheer beauty of the exhibit from the actual prop s from the movie to conceptual designs reminiscent from the films saga. On Tuesday the media was given an advance tour of the exhibition, which was entirely conceived and produced in Montreal below is a sneak peek of whats in store for fans an visitors it’s truly an amazing event. The exhibition uses 200 objects from the vast Lucas-Film archives, three dozen of which have never been displayed before, plus real science to look at the subject of identity. Following the stories of Anakin/Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker from childhood through adulthood. We study their origins, their influences and the decisions they made along the way. You will see the original Yoda puppet manipulated by master puppeteer Frank Oz, sketches done by the late, great Star Wars designer and illustrator Ralph McQuarrie. Star Wars: Identities is at the Montreal Science Centre, at the bottom of St. Laurent Blvd, and accessed via de la Commune St., from Thursday until Sept. 16.
