Profiles In History Is Set To Auction Off A Orginal Willy Wonka Collection
Profiles in History is auctioning off a collection of Willy Wonka & the Chocalate Factory items July 2012. These pieces are part of the Dreier Collection, and maybe the last time collectors will be given a chance to own these iconic items. The most significant of these items are Gene Wilder’s “Willy Wonka” signature costume. Originally obtained from Michael D. Beinner, Director of Field Advertising and Publicity for Paramount Pictures who was gifted the costume, which is estimated to fetch $80,000 – $120,000 USD.
