Tom Hanks as Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks
Here is the first image of Tom Hanks portraying the role as Walt for the film Saving Mr. Banks, a drama about the making of Disney’s Mary Poppins. I don’t know Hanks looks a bit heavier set than Walt and where is the cigarette? Also those Disneyland patrons look pretty modern. Saving Mr. Banks hits theaters December 20, 2013.

Tom Hanks x Yahoo: Electric City Web Series Premiere July 17, 2012
I posted a while ago about the new animated collaborative project produced-voiced by Tom Hanks’ Playtone and Reliance Entertainment, titled “Electric City” which is set premiere on Yahoo.com July 17, 2012. Electric City is an online web 10 x 5-7-minutes series described as a thriller set in a post-apocalyptic world where electricity is the most prized energy. All-star voices include: Jeanne Tripplehorn, Ginnifer Goodwin, Holland Taylor and Chris Parnell. Also what is cool is that Reliance’s Jump Games has developed an role-playing app plus other extras that build with in the series for iOs or Android. Tom Hanks Playtone Electric City Yahoo Web-Series This Spring
Tom Hanks and Yahoo have teamed up to produce an all new animated web-series called Electric City set to debut this spring. Electric City will also be equipped with interactive features and social media connectivity. The plot follows a civilization of the future with a post-apocalyptic landscape tackling issues like energy and crime. Tom Hanks company Playtone contributes to writing and producing the web-series along with Hanks being the voice of the lead character in the series.
