Top 15 Popular Animated Motion Picture Cats, Kitties and Lions

I have complied a list of the top popular animated Kitties, Cats and Lions. Now I came to the conclusion after all the research I started to do, this list could have been endless… scouring the internet for the most notable cats became challenging only because I kept finding more iconic cats along the way. Note this post is only cats that have been feature in a major movie picture. I realize that there are a TON of noteworthy animated cat characters. Each possessing their own canny ability to capture (god or bad) the hearts of an audience. So this post is only about the top 15 cats and their counter parts. Meaning other cats associated in that particular movie but are not the top cat. You will notice is this post a lot of the cats big and small seem to have some bad attributes while other are just plan old cute maybe one more than the other. White House Easter Egg Roll 2012

To celebrate Easter every year for the past 134 years the White House has its annual Easter Egg Roll on the white house lawn. You can only attend if you were invited of you are white house staff member, friend or family. Or if you are lucky enough to win the White House lottery, then you can get in for free! The event will be streamed live all day Monday, April 8, 2012 on WhiteHouse.gov/live. Ok so what’s so special about the White House Easter Egg Roll, and the reason you should watch? well there will be a bunch of your favorite animated characters parading around the White House lawn celebrating Easter, check out the roster of cartoon mascots below. New Schleich Smurfs 2012 Preview NYTF

Check out the Schleich Peyo Smurf display at the 2012 New York City Toy Fair. The new Smurf line theme this year is “Long live sport: the new Smurfs are fit as fiddle and don’t shy discipline.” The set includes featuring only the strongest of the strongest smurfs, the Show Jumper, Javelin Thrower, Sprinter, Swimmer, Relay runner, Weightlifter, Gymnast, Beach volleyball player, Shotputter and Winner! It’s pretty obvious this is another 2012 Olympic Games competition inspired line. Either way I love the Smurfs and I am huge fan of whatever Smurf set Schleich puts out each year, since they are the number one Smurf figurine maker. Oh and the set is set to launch into stores May 2012!

Belgium Postal Stamps 2012 The Smurfs – Tintin

The Belgium Postal will be issuing a set of collectible and usable postage stamps showcasing some of the countries most noted lovable animated icons. Giving homage to Peyo’s little blue buddies The Smurfs and Hergé’s The Adventures of Tintin along with his dog Snowy. Not to mention there are other notable comic and cartoon characters that are also popular in Belgium in the stamp collection. These beautiful stamps are will be available starting September 2012 in Belgium. So if you have any friends in that area tell them to pick you a set. This is perfect addition for any collector of either Tintin of The Smurfs and these are limited to the year and will not be reproduced.
