Returning to the The Hub this winter with all-new episodes with more than a few surprises featuring our favorite ponies Twilight and friends. In the third-season finale, Twilight Sparkle gained her wings and became a princess. “What we didn’t want to do was change who she is as a character, because she’s certainly someone that everyone’s proud to know and love,” head writer Meghan McCarthy explained, “I don’t think becoming a princess really changes her; I think it’s going to introduce some new challenges for her.” I guess we will just have to wait and see.

“It’s really about her earning this new status by combining all the things that we’ve seen her learn over the course of the series.”
Even though Twilight will undergo a physical transformation, her personality will remain the same. “What we didn’t want to do was change who she is as a character, because she’s certainly someone that everyone’s proud to know and love,” McCarthy says. “I don’t think becoming a princess really changes her; I think it’s going to introduce some new challenges for her.”
“Every little girl wants to be a princess, and not everybody can get to be a princess — but you can live up to the ideals that should come along with being a princess.”

A couple of weeks back I was invited to interview R.L.Stine, I jumped at the chance to connect with one of my favorite writers from my childhood. I have to tell you firsthand even though his books are aimed to scare Stine was a pleasure to speak with, very engaging and charismatic I felt like I could ask him anything. What’s cool about interviewing writers is that they have a story for everything. So I could have spent hours talking to Stine about the most random things. Which I did and got completely off topic and barely talked about his most recent book Red Rain: A Novel. Anyway I hope you enjoy my random questions below with R.L.Stine. The Hub: Batman: The Animated Series 10 Episode Special

Oh exciting!! my favorite cartoon Batman series created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger developed by Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski. Batman: The Animated Series will be on The Hub this Friday! the series originally ran from September 5, 1992 – September 15, 1995, was partially inspired by Tim Burton’s films Batman and Batman Returns, Frank Miller’s comic book Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, and the Superman cartoons produced by Fleischer Studios in the 1940s. The influenced look has a “vintage” color scheme by using light colors on black paper, instead of dark colors on white paper as is the industry standard. They coined this look as “Dark Deco.” Catch 10 great episodes of Batman: The Animated Series starting this Friday at 4/1c pm on The Hub. Make sure you don’t miss this special event!
