Middle-Earth Meals @ Denny’s – The Hobbit

Family restaurants Denny’s has partnered up with Warner Bros. for some tasty new Middle-earth inspired meals. The limited time menu is to promote the upcoming film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. You can chow down on the new Middle-earth dishes starting Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Denny’s. Patrons who order from the specialized menu will get a collectible trading card. To celebrate the birthday’s of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins today has been officially coined Hobbit Day! And continuing to the celebration a new The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey poster has surfaced featuring Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, clutching his sword, Sting. First Look at Hobbit/LOTR Exclusive RealD 3D Glasses

Here is a first look at Peter Jackson’s limited edition Hobbit exclusive RealD 3D Glasses that will be given out at selected cinemas in December 2012 when you see The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. No word if these are mock viersion or if they will be distributed in the U.S. as of yet. What do you think of these 3D glasses? I think would make a great collector peice. Entertainment Weekly: San Deigo Comic-Con Preview Issue

I get so bummed every time I see something SDCC related since I am not going and now my favorite magazine Entertainment Weekly had to rub it my face and revealed their latest cover the Comic-Con preview issue, which you can pick up of stands starting today. The new issue offers a new image of characters from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) and Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen) as Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey. The Hobbit hits theaters December 14, 2012. This is the first half of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy tale. In this film you follow the journey of Bilbo, who is on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug.
