Check out the new Converse collaboration with Nintendo featuring an 8-bit Super Mario Bros. on Chuck Taylor All Stars, with zipper specially for kids. I don’t think these are out in the states yet since the information comes from a Japanese source. But keep an eye out at your local sneaker retailers they may just pop up.

Do you remember this Super Mario Bros commercial for NES? I sure don’t well maybe I do honestly I can’t remember or didn’t have much of an impact on me. But now watching it I’m so amazed at how powerful that game has impacted my life. And this video really captures that essence of then and now. The kids are shouting Mario! Mario! why don’t they make commercial likes this any more? And I wonder what the kids in the video are still into Super Mario…check the video below
