Star Wars: Identities Exhibition Montreal

Here is an inside look into Star Wars: Identities Exhibition by X3 Productions, in collaboration with the Montreal Science Centre and LucasFilm Ltd. Which has its world premiere Thursday (today) April 19, 2012 at the Montreal Science Centre. Weather you’re a fan of the science fiction movie or not you will definitely be able to appreciate to sheer beauty of the exhibit from the actual prop s from the movie to conceptual designs reminiscent from the films saga. On Tuesday the media was given an advance tour of the exhibition, which was entirely conceived and produced in Montreal below is a sneak peek of whats in store for fans an visitors it’s truly an amazing event. The exhibition uses 200 objects from the vast Lucas-Film archives, three dozen of which have never been displayed before, plus real science to look at the subject of identity. Following the stories of Anakin/Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker from childhood through adulthood. We study their origins, their influences and the decisions they made along the way. You will see the original Yoda puppet manipulated by master puppeteer Frank Oz, sketches done by the late, great Star Wars designer and illustrator Ralph McQuarrie. Star Wars: Identities is at the Montreal Science Centre, at the bottom of St. Laurent Blvd, and accessed via de la Commune St., from Thursday until Sept. 16. Well this is an interesting combo of movies Star Wars vs. Toy Story. Take a look at this hybrid Woody and Han Solo combination. This seems to be first in a series of up coming combos in the Toy War collection. The packaging is pretty great featuring a comic book like storyboard. I would like to take a closer look at the story. But what’s kinda baffling is why is the toy called Buddy? I’m confused is that hybrid name or the Asian name? Each the toy is going for about $75.00USD. Not sure who the designer is by you can buy through toy-people.com. Also there is Toy Wars Buzz Lightyear but I don’t get his role make storm trooper? check it out below.

XBOX Kinect Star Wars Global Pre-Party Video Exclusive

Have you played Kinect Star Wars? of course you haven’t it’s not out yet but! if you happen to have been one of the lucky thousands that were invited to the Kinect Star Wars Global Pre-Party then you got a first hand look and played probably one of the greatest games ever invented. XBOX invited celebrities and game gurus to an exclusive Kinect Star Wars Preview Parties that was held worldwide. Looks like it was pretty fun a combination of break dancers and gamers with a dash of real Star Wars nerds! Seriously the galactic dance off looks so much fun I can’t wait to try out the game too.
