Ron English Cartoon Colored SpongeBob Limited Edition Print
Recently I noticed that Ron English’s site POPaganda, release’s a limited edition print on the third Thursday of every month. I know its the end of the month. But his current piece of collectible art “Cartoon Colored SpongeBob” is still available. This is a great piece especially if you are SpongeBob SquarePants fanatic. The piece is a limited edition screen print, 60 copies, signed, numbered. With a photographic background and a black and white line drawing of SpongeBob which has been hand coloured by Ron English. Priced is about $300.00.
LeBron James Tweets Love for SpongeBob
Who knew that American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat LeBron Raymone James, nicknamed “King James” was a fan of Stephen Hillenburg hit Nickelodeon TV series SpongeBob SquarePants? LeBron tweeted “Well at least i can always fall back and watch SpongeBob Squarepants.” after the Bears (34 – 18) Cowboy football game last night. I guess SpongeBob is his go to Cartoon after an intense game. Maybe we could see LeBron SpongeBob sneaker collaboration in the future?
Jeremy Scott Custom 24K Gold SpongeBob SquarePants Pharaoh Necklace
Street-wear fashion designer Jeremy Scott known mostly for his Adidas collaborations. Has a secret infatuation with cartoons and animation. At Jeremy Scott‘s Spring 2013 Runway Show, he was seen wearing a custom 24K gold SpongeBob SquarePants Pharaoh Necklace. Word is that the necklace is actually a Burger King toy from 2005 painted with an electro-conductive spray paint and electro-formed over a period of two weeks coating the soft plastic toy in an even copper shell. The SB was then plated in a layer of nickel and then a layer of 24kt gold. As a finishing touch he added jet black Swarovski Crystals set into the eyes, producing some crazy bling! now that makes you think what is under all that bling right?

Animator, television director, television producer, writer Stephen Hillenburg and owner of his own production company, United Plankton Pictures. Was born August 21, 1961 best known for his work on SpongeBob SquarePants. Stephen turns 52 today! Happy Birthday!
Ernest Borgnine the Mermaid Man Passes Away at 95
Sad news this evening Ernest Borgnine the voice of the Mermaid Man from Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants died tonight at the age 95. Borgnine was an American film and television actor whose career spanned more than six decades. Borgnine died on July 8th, 2012, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, California. His wife and children were at his side. Borgnine was 95 years old.
