Elysium Movie
Sony has just dropped the first Elysium Citizenship Initiative will you make the cut? Elysium is an upcoming science fiction film written and directed by Neill Blomkamp scheduled to be released on August 9, 2013. Starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, Elysium takes place on a ravaged Earth and a luxurious space habitat named Elysium. The film will explore political themes such as “immigration, health care and class issues.”
In the year 2154, the very wealthy live on Elysium – a Stanford torus space habitat in Earth orbit – while the rest live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. The people of Earth are desperate to escape the planet’s crime and poverty, and they critically need the state-of-the-art medical care available on Elysium – but some in Elysium will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve their citizens’ luxurious lifestyle. The only one with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is 36 year-old Max De Costa (Matt Damon), an ordinary man in desperate need to get to Elysium. With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him against Elysium’s Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) and her hard-line forces.

Sony Hotel Transylvania Statues in Cancun Mexico and Voice Cast Photos
Check out the new promotion for Sony Pictures Animation, Hotel Transylvania statues which are located in Cancun Mexico. Producer Michelle Murdocca, director Genndy Tartakovsky, and some of the voice cast members like Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg and Kevin James traveled down to the beautiful Country to take pictures with the life-size monster statues. The Amazing Spider-Man Interactive Mural by Dave Hill
This is a pretty cool video, photographer Dave Hill took 2D pictures with a Sony NEX-5 camera cutting and pasting photos with 3D laying tools creating am amazing Spider-Man Mural. Unfortunately I think it would be cooler if everything was 3D instead of flat pictures. Producing an interactive picture bringing The Amazing Spider-Man to life. The really cool part about this Spider-Man Mural is you can interact by submitting your own picture at www.sony.com/experience hence the white shadow people could be you! New Official Trailer for Sony Hotel Transylvania
Have you heard about Hotel Transylvania yet? I posted the first leak of the Russian trailer a couple of weeks ago. Sony has dropped finally dropped the new American trailer today. For 3D animated comedy about the non-humans only monsters resort. But all of that is compromised when a human tourist stumbles upon the resort accidentally and has to pretend to be something he isn’t in front of a bunch of scary guest. Plus finds himself in a romantic relation shit with the head of the resort Count Dracula daughter he’s gonna have a lot of explaining to do (ops but that part wasn’t in the trailer!) This star filled cast features voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, David Koechner, Cee Lo Green, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon and David Spade. Hits theaters September 28, 2012. Now that I have seen the American trailer the Russian one makes so much more sense. Check the official trailer below.
New Amazing Spider-Man Movie Photos
Marvel’s The Amazing Spider-Man live-action movie has just released a set of new photos from the filming featuring Peter Parker as Spiderman, Gwen Stacy and Captain Stacy. Amazing Spider-Man Directed by Marc Webb is set to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on July 3, 2012.
Playstation 3 Final Fantasy XIII (13) Lightning Edition Ver 2 Japan Exclusive
The latest collaboration with Square Enix and Playsation 3-II is the custom Final Fantasy XIII console drops into U.S. stores January 31, 2012. Japan gets a special release date of December 15, 2011 with some extra goodies in the package, that wont be available in the U.S. version. The Final Fantasy XIII PS3 comes with Final Fantasy XIII game, and controller the console it’s self is a pearl black when on the image outline lights up in pink. Japanese version includes a 320GB hard drive, starting price of ¥37,960 ($495).
Sony Poncho Pooch Cafe Movie
Sony Pictures Animation announced plans to turn Pooch Cafe an Canadian and American comic strip written and illustrated by Paul Gilligan into a full length CG animated movie. Following the comic strip about Poncho’s life with his master, Chazz, and Chazz’s cat-loving wife, Carmen who owns six cats. You will get to meet Poncho and his buddies Boomer, Hudson, Droolia (a female Bullmastiff with a drooling problem), Gus (a Scottish Terrier), Beaumont (or “Bobo”, the owner of the titular cafe), Poo Poo (a Bichon Frise), and a zen goldfish named “Fish” The strip takes its name from the cafe where Poncho and his friends gather to compare notes about life among the humans.
Ghostbusters movie showtimes 2011
In height of Halloween season Sony Pictures is re-releasing it’s scifi comedy cult classic Ghostbusters. Starring your favorite trio of parasychologists Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler as they investigate paranormal activity in a Central Park West apartment. The original Ghostbusters will be hitting theaters throughout the month of October. Check the Ghostbusters Facebook page for all the latest updates.
