So far this has to be my favorite LEGO statue ever! Found at the San Diego Comic Con, featuring a classic all black Catwoman built entirely by LEGO bricks. Looks to me it could possibly be inspired by the original Bill Finger/Bob Kane Catwoman concept. What do you think? does anyone know who the LEGO master build who painstakingly pieced this lovely feline creature together? would love to know!
Here is a great picture I found to get people hyped about the San Diego Comic Con. They propped a huge Finn head, from the hit series Adventure Time from the Cartoon Network, on top of the convention center to promote the event. Pretty cool!

One of the many toys that will be popping up at the Toy Tokyo Booth at this years San Diego Comic Con is the highly anticipated Bart Brin vinyl figure from Propaganda artist Ron English. Obviously this Bart Brin is an extremely recognizable popular culture character from Matt Groening The Simpsons. I think so far, this has to be one of my favorite Ron English pieces to date. The Bart Brin is limited to only 100 pieces made and stands 10″ inches tall. He will only be available at the Toy Tokyo Booth # 5336. What do you think would you cop it? Check out more pictures below. Rong English will also be at the booth on Saturday July 14, 2012 to do some signing.
I am such a huge fan of Adventure Time and Regular Show from Cartoon Network it is unreal. And the amount of Adventure Time merchandise that is being produced is hard to keep up with. But if you will be attending the San Diego Comic Con there is a couple of must have pieces to add to your collection. First is the SDCC exclusive Adventure Time: Finn and Fionna figure set from Jazwares pictured above. Whats cool about these 2″ inch figures is that they come with a miniature Comic Con “talent” badge. These will available for a limited time only for $15.00 USD online at Toysrus.com/ComicCon2012, starting July 12, 2012.
So many exclusive toys will be dropping at this years SDCC. I will be doing a bunch of post featuring exclusives leading up the event I am totally bummed out that I will not be going to this year. First toy I want to share is the My Little Pony exclusive. Habro produces a different pony every year. The 2012 pony is inspired by the Hub series My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. This Pegasus pony (pictures) is cutie marked bubbles. The pony will sell for $19.99 USD at San Diego Comic-Con and this year’s My Little Pony Fair and Convention in Orlando. If you wont be able to make it either event there will be a limited amount available at hasbrotoyshop.com after both conventions. Check out more pictures below.
Ugh even more reason to be depressed about not going to this years San Diego Comic Con. Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time will be at The New Children’s Museum which is just a hop skip and a jump from the SDCC offering a fully immersive experience inspired by two Adventure Time episodes. The Adventure Time Keyper Seeker experience invites guest to a lush re-creation of the Land of Ooo! You will be welcomed by The Keyper, a popular Adventure Time character. Who will present guests with a special key that opens one of the many doors within the secret lair of the Door Lords. But to do that you have decipher a riddle that if successful will grant access to an extra-special prize locked inside! Also The New Children’s Museum of San Diego and Cartoon Network will also be partnering to host an Adventure Time exhibition featuring fan-art. The event takes place starting July 11 (Sunday) to July 15, 2012 at The New Children’s Museum, located at 200 West Island Avenue, San Diego, California 92101, across the street from the Convention Center.
