Here is the first look at some never before seen stills from the up coming Disney Paperman short via EW.com. Paperman will be premiere at the opening of Wreck-it Ralph on November 2, 2012, featuring a new Disney in-house technology called Meander which mixes hand-drawn art layered over shapes giving a 3D effect to old-school flat animation. The footage in Paperman goes back and forth between the 2D and CG animation to give it that fine-tuned look. Have a look at more images below.

Paperman Short by John Kahrs Playing with Disney's Wreck-It Ralph
Paperman is the latest 2D and CG animated short from Walt Disney Animation Studios. Introducing a groundbreaking technique that seamlessly merges computer-generated and hand-drawn animation techniques, by first-time director John Kahrs. Paperman will play before the Wreck-It Ralph movie on November 2, 2012. Kahrs uses a minimalist black-and-white style to tell a young man;s story in mid-century New York City who relies only on his heart, imagination, a stack of papers and some pure luck to win the girl of his dreams, in a skyscraper away, across the avenue from his office.
