C-3PO and R2-D2 Dancing at New York Toy Fair 2012
I don’t know how I missed the Microsoft booth I was at this years Toy Fair! C-3PO from Star Wars has definitely got some moves, check out the video below of him and R2-D2 breaking it down at the Microsoft booth at this years Toy Fair this past February in NYC. C-3PO and R2-D2 made a guest appearance to promote the new Star Wars Kinect game and the R2-D2 themed Xbox console. Music started playing and the droids started grooving.
Neca Gremlins and Mogwai Series 1 and 2 Figures 2012 Toy Fair Exculsive
Let’s take it down a notch from cute to a little grimy. Neca booth was jam-packed at this years New York Toy Fair so it was hard to move around but I was able to get some really good pictures of a new line of Gremlins toys they will be dropping this Summer. Wow the detail on these were pretty scary. Neca really nailed it when it came to capturing the look of these cute little guys that can turn evil with just a drop of water. The set features gremlins from all 3 movies (I believe) since the theme was entitled Gremlins Magical Series 3. Well let me start the ones pictures above and below Gremlins: Mogwai: Series 1 and 2 both have poseable ears and eyes. Gremlins: Gremlins Series 1 and 2 Action Figure Assortment not sure if they move or not I was scared to touch the display. The Series 1 both Mogwai and Gremlins will be out Spring 2012 the following Series 2 will drop Summer 2012. OK last but not least the Gremlins Prop Replica Stunt Puppet is a cast mold directly from the original films stunt puppet. Hand-painted made of rubber and latex stands 30 inches tall and is very limited to only 1000 worldwide. Honestly it is freaky but amazing in quality, you would have had to be there in person to see how articulate the sculpture is. I really want one for myself but I don’t think I would be able to sleep at night. There were a few other pieces in the collection I’m not to sure about like the electric Gremlins and the Lady Gremlin I will try to figure out if those are available too.
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure Toy Fair NYC 2012 Booth
Wow the Skylanders booth based off the interactive video game was pretty incredible thought I would share this fantastic display of these life-size characters. the colors and texture beat any other booth at the 2012 New York Toy Fair hands down. Definitely not an expert on the game so not sure who the characters are? so if anyone could assist would be deeply appreciate. I think now I’m looking to get into following this game based of the NYTF display!

New Schleich Smurfs 2012 Preview NYTF
Check out the Schleich Peyo Smurf display at the 2012 New York City Toy Fair. The new Smurf line theme this year is “Long live sport: the new Smurfs are fit as fiddle and don’t shy discipline.” The set includes featuring only the strongest of the strongest smurfs, the Show Jumper, Javelin Thrower, Sprinter, Swimmer, Relay runner, Weightlifter, Gymnast, Beach volleyball player, Shotputter and Winner! It’s pretty obvious this is another 2012 Olympic Games competition inspired line. Either way I love the Smurfs and I am huge fan of whatever Smurf set Schleich puts out each year, since they are the number one Smurf figurine maker. Oh and the set is set to launch into stores May 2012!

Playmates Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Figures and Playset Recap
I posted the official TMNT preview last week while the Playmates gang was setting up. Here is 2012 New York Toy Fair Playmates Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles booth recap day one. Just wanted to share some better pictures of the displays and figures. These new figures are direct representation of the cartoon featuring sounds from the actual voice cast members. Along with that the figures show much more personality then the classic figurines that most of us grew up with. Playmate representative gave some insight on how the Nickelodeon show is geared to grow, starting at the turtles very beginning and following the turtles as they learn and grow up. There was also mentioned of Cassy Jones making an appearance in the cartoon and a possibility of him in the live-action film in the works from Paramount Pictures. I don’t know about you but I’m definitely liking the new vamped turtles and how Playmates and Nickelodeon is taking the sewer to the surface. What do you think about the new line of action figures and play-sets?

Target Shooter set includes one figure, target and other accessories. All of these little guys are under 10 bucks how cool is that? recommended ages are 4 through 10.

The Treena and Friends line includes, collectible figures with interchangeable facial expressions, mini play-sets and larger feature play-sets. New York Toy Fair 2012 Opening Ceremony
As we arrived to the Javits Center too early to think *yawn* and way too early in the morning, my trusty photographer and I were greeted by an enormous green LEGO giant. This huge icon Marvel’s The Incredible Hulk was there to promote the most recent collaboration with Marvel and LEGO. How many LEGO Bricks do you think it took to build this mammoth of a mutant?
