The summer really brings out all types of cool collaborations and one (amongst many) in particular, you Mickey fashion fans might enjoy — for those who were a teen in the late 80′s early 90′s you probably shopped at Old Navy or Gap right? but lately both Gap and Old Navy don’t seem as cool as they used to be. That all could change with this latest collaboration with Disney! The two mega brands have come together to give us the “Mickey Through The Decades” a fun collection of T-shirts inspired by…well, Mickey through the decades of course! taking fans down memory lane with vintage graphics, inspired by Floyd Gottfredson comics and other classic animated films starting from Steamboat Willie to 1950′s Mickey Mouse Club. I can’t help to wonder if this colab has anything to do with all the new retro projects Disney has been dropping — like the new Mickey Mouse shorts for the Disney Channel and the upcoming “Get A Horse” cartoon. To promote the Disney x Old Navy collaboration, Old Navy has launched a special dedicated site which features downloadable “vintage” postcards, coloring sheets and wallpapers. Mickey Through the Decades collection is available now through OldNavy.com and at Old Navy stores nationwide, shirts for all ages, sizes and genders staring at prices $12.94 to $14.94. Check our a preview of the shirts below, and let me know what you think.

Nothing is better than hitting the streets with fresh kicks on your feet don’t you agree? Start off the summer with the latest Disney x Vans collaboration which introduces the Vault Classics Capsule Collection. Featuring the lovable and iconic Disney characters Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh in OG Authentic LX and OG Sk8-Hi LX old school Vans. This Vault by Vans collection is particularly cool due to the fact they were originally designed with Disney in the early 1980s, and for some reason which is not disclosed the collection was discontinued for decades, up until now! Lucky for us Disney X Vans plans to reissued these classics and will be dropping them Fall 2013 at select Vans Vault retailers. Check out a preview of the collection below. Let me know which style is your favorite!
