James L. Brooks Talks Matt Groening and Simpsons
Check out this clip of Brooklyn born Actor, Producer and Writer James L. Brooks on his first introduction to Matt Groening The Tracey Ullman Show and their long-term success and evolution of the hit Fox animation The Simpsons. Brooks hired cartoonist Matt Groening to create a series of shorts for The Tracey Ullman Show show, which eventually led to The Simpsons in 1989. Check out the video below.

Check out this cool retro, thirty-second commercial for the 1993 Toyota Corolla featuring Matt Groening’s The Simpsons. Grandpa Abe is mad at Homer for how much money he spent, until finds out that it is a roomer, quitter, Corolla with a better value. Grandpa, now super to find out it is a Corolla, ditches Homer to takes the kids for a spin. This just shows you how cool the internet is when you find gems like this. Check out the trailer below. Matt Groening 1990 Simpson Sketches on Bennigan’s Napkin
Very cool story, check this out so about 22 years ago, months after The Simpsons premiered on TV, Matt Groening happen to be chowing down at Bennigan’s and drew these original doodles for a waitress he musta been smitten for. Now in the present day the show is in its 24th season (starting on September 30, 2012) and her son, a Simpsons fan, was thrilled when he discovered them. Check out more pictures below.
