Leon Keer Pac-Man 3D Sidewalk-Chalk Mural

Leon Keer is back on the streets…literally. You may recognize Leon Keer‘s name from the “NO REAL THAN YOU ARE”, “Ego Leonard” scandal. When a 8-foot-tall, 100-pound fiberglass statue Lego Man was discovered on the Siesta Key Beach in Florida last November it made local and national headlines. Keer was in the area doing another street-art sidewalk-chalk mural of an army of 3D LEGO men when he was linked to the plot. His current sidewalk-chalk mural (shown above) is in Venlo, The Netherlands. Inspired by 80′s popular Arcade game Pac-Man. Again he uses the street as his canvas and chalk as his medium. Leon Keer Lego Florida Sarasota Street Art Chalk Fest

Just wanted to give readers an update on the Sarasota chalk festival that got some press regarding the infamous Lego Man that washed up on the Siesta Key Beach. Sources pin-pointed the Ego Leonard experiment publicity stunt to Dutch guerrilla artist Leon Keer who happened to be one of the artist in Sarasota this week participating in the city’s annual chalk festival. Here is a picture of his featured 3D Lego Army work at the festival.

The LEGO’s comes together…The 8-foot-tall, 100-pound fiberglass statue Lego Man discovered on the Siesta Key Beach in Florida, October 26, 2011 wearing a shirt saying “NO REAL THAN YOU ARE” with the name “Ego Leonard” written on the back. This was all part of an anonymous Dutch artist’s Ego Leonard experiment. Also known as Dutch guerrilla artist Leon Keer who happens to be one of the artist in Sarasota this week participating in the city’s annual chalk festival.
