Vacationers of all ages will have even more opportunities to jump on the high-seas and join the high-jinks with Pandas, Ogres, Lions, Dragons and other beloved DreamWorks characters.

Here is the new poster for DreamWorks animated comedy The Croods, features the voice talents of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, Clark Duke, Cloris Leachman, Catherine Keener and more. Chris Sanders and Kirk DeMicco are co-directing this prehistoric animated feature film, with the help of Monty Python troupe member John Cleese. Which you can definitely see a resemblance from the Monty Python franchise art through the Croods poster. Don’t you think? The film follows The Croods, an introverted family, who find themselves guided out of their cave into a new dynamic world of innovation. The 16th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Film Awards, presented by The Los Angeles Times, have announced today that DreamWorks Animation’s “Rise of the Guardians” will receive this year’s “Hollywood Animation Award” at the festival’s gala ceremony on October 22, 2012, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Directed by Peter Ramsey and written David Lindsay-Abaire inspired by children’s books by William Joyce, produced by Christina Steinberg and Nancy Bernstein and executive produced by Guillermo del Toro and Michael Siegel. The film follows an over-protective father named Grug and how all he needs to do is hold his family together, wife (Catherine Keener), kids (Emma Stone and Clark Duke) and ornery mother-in-law (Cloris Leachman) as the world around them changes at a dramatic pace. Grug guides his family through this spectacular environment, full of amazing creatures, to find a new cave to call home.

DreamWorks Animation is happy to announce a new upcoming computer-animated TV series based on the How to Train Your Dragon. The new series entitled Dragons: Riders of Berk will feature most of the original voice cast original, following Hiccup and his dragon trainer friends. Dragons: Riders of Berk will premiere on September 4, 2012 on Cartoon Network. A one hour preview consisting of two episodes will air on August 7, 2012. A total of 20 episodes has been order and plans of season a second season has already been confirmed. Check out the preview below.

The exhbit starts next Monday, July 30, 2012 at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts Gallery the Steven Spielberg Building – 900 West 34th Street, Los Angeles, CA. The exhibit will also feature a peek at the upcoming Rise of the Guardians art. I wish this was a traveling exhibit!

The film is about a shadow named Stan (voice by Bill Hader) who wants a more exciting life then just being a ordanaray, Stan is attached to a simply kind of guy named Stanley Grubb (Josh Gad). The two are thrown into helping to solve a crime within the shadow community. Which puts both of their lives in grave danger. Stan takes control of Stanley where the two of them must confront a shadowy villain, who intends to lead a rebellion of shadows that plan to take over human world. DreamWorks Animation’s Me and My Shadow is an original story blending hand drawn, two-dimensional animation with three-dimensional computer animation. DreamWorks Animation Mr. Peabody & Sherman Film 2014


Just announced Ty Burrell (from Modern Family) and Max Charles (from The Amazing Spider-Man) will take lead voice rolls in the DreamWorks Animation’s Mr. Peabody & Sherman set to hit theaters March 14, 2014. Mr. Peabody & Sherman will be directed by Rob Minkoff, produced by Alex Schwartz and, written by Craig Wright. Bullwinkle Studio‘s Tiffany Ward and Classic Media’s Eric Ellenbogen will serve as executive producers on the film. Mr. Peabody & Sherman film will be based off Jay Ward’s classic cartoon. Following Mr. Peabody who is the world’s smartest person but happens to be a dog. Who happens to have “pet” boy named Sherman. These two cause chaos with their time traveling WABAC when they go back in time and change events in history.
