LEGO: The Piece of Resistance
LEGO: The Piece of Resistance directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller is set to hit theaters February 28, 2014. So far the cast includes: Will Arnett as LEGO Batman, Channing Tatum as LEGO Superman, Chris Pratt as Emmett, Morgan Freeman and Elizabeth Banks will also be contributing their vocal talents to the film. The LEGO story follows Pratt’s character Emmett, a normal LEGO mini-figure who is mistaken for the mythical “Master Builder” and whisked away on a quest to save the entire LEGO world before an evil tyrant glues the universe together.
Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers Updates
Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers (2014) is the sequel to the 2009 Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs release. I think most fans were not expecting directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller to collaborate on sequel but this time as producers. The new directing roles go to Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn who both worked on the first film in other areas. The script this time is written by John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein and Erica Rivinoja. Most of the voice cast returns with Bill Hader as inventor Flint Lockwood; Anna Faris as brainy weather girl Sam Sparks; James Caan as Flint’s technophobic dad, Tim Lockwood; Andy Samberg as Swallow Falls’ local celebrity “Baby” Brent; Neil Patrick Harris as Steve the gummy bear-loving monkey; Benjamin Bratt as Sam’s mild mannered cameraman Manny: and Terry Crews (who has replaced Mr. T) as Earl, the town cop. Sony's 3d Animated Film, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
