Each tee is featuring a different street fighters in BAPE’s signature cartoon style along with A Bathing Ape’s icon Baby Milo SF style. Japanese street-wear company A Bathing Ape has teamed up again with Marvel Comics‘ but this time with The Avengers. Featuring Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man and Thor infused with Bape’s iconic Baby Milo character. There are seven pieces in this latest collection, six graphic tee-shirts with the Marvel logo and one all-over print hoodie. The collection is available in kids, ladies and mens sizes, and prices ranging from ¥5,460 — ¥23,940 JPY which is approximately $70.00 – $306.00 USD available starting August 11, 2012 at official Bape stores worldwide. Not really into Bape gear these days but I love this new A Bathing Ape x Tokyo DisneySea Collection. Bape teamed Tokyo’s Disney Resort Japan/ D-24 for an all-new line of Mickey and Minnie Mouse mongram/camo-ish patterns featured on white tee-shirts, tote bags, hand clutches, and chain coin purses. Japanese Street-wear company A Bathing Ape has teamed up with the popular Manga/Anime series One Piece by Eiichiro Oda. BABE is bring Oda’s colorful band of pirates Luffy, Chopper and Zoro on printed tee shirts just in time for summer. The One Piece A Bathing Ape Collection will drop in two release dates the first eight (pictures below) will hit BABE flag ships stores and specialty retailers May 26, with the second run releasing June 2, 2012. (of the last four tee shirts on the very bottom)
Check out the latest BAPE “A Bathing Ape” collaborative toy by Japanese company Takara TOMY featuring Hasbo’s Transformer Optimus Prime aka Convoy Black Version. The piece is obviously very limited and exclusive though it was not states on exactly how many pieces were made the price is $199.90 USD and in pre-order status till the end of April 2012, and should arrive in Asian stores May 7, 2012. Young Dutch artist Mike Frederiqo known for his vivid tattooing and graffiti. Fregeriqo has worked with street-wear companies like A Bathing Ape for their Bape’s Soup Collection. His latest paintings include Nickelodeons SpongeBob SquarePants where he uses this cartoon icon in an artist rendition of other notable pop artist. Here you see SpongeBob as to fashion designer Karl Largerfield, rapper/designer Pharrell Williams, photographer Terry Richardson, designer icon Coco Chanel, and Marc Jacobs along with a remake of Takashi Murakami flower characters. Not sure where you can pick these amazing pieces up or if they are even for sale either way very clean lines and great coloring along with a very cool concept dressing up SpongeBob.
