Google BBS Terminal

It’s funny how even we want so badly to live in a futuristic society. We keep pulling our selves back into the 80′s will we ever get out this nostalgic rut? Here is the latest 8-bit reminder. This is kinda cool but also pretty boring. There is a new site called Google BBS Terminal that will enable you to do searches on Google as it would have looked in the 80′s. The lame part about this site is the boring dial-up sound and what would have been cool is if the indexed sites were those only available in the 80′s. 8-Bit NES Game Covers for Alfred Hitchock's North by Northwest, The Birds, and Psycho

For those who do not know about Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock he was a British born film directors known as “The Master of Suspense.” Born on August 13, 1899 he died on April 29, 1980. Hitchcock was a pioneer in psychological thrillers his most famous are North by Northwest (1959) and Psycho (1960) and The Birds (1963). Now to pay homage to his most popular films check out these cool movie poster art featuring the three most popular films listed above as Nintendo 8-bit games. Have you used the trial version of Google Maps 8-Bit yet? So cool! Google Maps transformed the world into an 8-Bit landscape. Making your favorite areas into pixelated wonders.
