Now is your chance to get your hands on some really amazing artist’s proof pieces from Martin Ansin Tron Legacy collection. The series of posters goes on sale sometime today on the Postersandtoys.com site. I just check and it still has not posted so you may have a chance to get. The regular versions are 24″ x 36″ posters, have AP editions of 37, and will cost $150/set. The variant versions have AP editions of 22 and will cost $200/set. Check out the sets below.

Silhouettes From Popular Culture by Olly Moss

Publisher Titan Books is set to release Silhouettes From Popular Culture By Olly Moss some time in October 2012. The young Brit Olly Moss has quickly become an influential part of today’s pop culture art. Olly’s “Paper Cuts” series depicts popular characters from films, television and video games in Victorian-style silhouette portraits. The hardcover will be bound in full cloth, featuring gold foiling and a paper label inset of the silhouette on the cover. I am not sure where you will be able to buy this book as of yet but I will keep you posted. In the mean time check out some of my favorites below. (fyi it was so time-consuming fixing those photos too!)

With two interchangeable nylon bands, one in all black, the other in light green camouflage, the watch features non-reflective lens, luminous index for minutes and hands. What is really cool about this watch is Mickey’s seven different facial expressions. Available for limited time through ZOZOTOWN.

Animation Domination Family Guy Special One-hour Season Finale

This Sunday (May 20, 2012) is going to be huge its the season finally for all the Fox Animation Domination TV series. Sadness there wont be much to look forward over the summer so I can’t wait till September! So this weekend there will be a one-hour special of Family Guy, which means two episode back-to-back the first episode is: Family Guy Viewer Mail No. 2 –
Another collection of Family Guy stories and the second: Internal Affairs – Peter vs. the Giant Chicken, Round 4. Starting this Sunday at 9/8c. Read the full synopsis below and check out some pictures.

1. Family Guy Viewer Mail No. 2 – Another collection of Family Guy stories.Continuing show tradition, Brian and Stewie respond to viewer mail. The rest of the episode is a British version of the Griffins, Quahog is taken over by a famous comedian and we get to see the world from Stewie’s POV. With guest stars: Ioan Gruffudd, Cate Blanchett, Chris O’Dowd and Tom Hollander.

2. Internal Affairs – Peter vs. the Giant Chicken, Round 4. Peter encourages Joe to have a one-night stand with his attractive new partner. Meanwhile, Peter has another run-in with the angry chicken which makes for yet another epic fight. (This one I can’t wait for)

World Record LEGO Tower Celebrating LEGO’s 80th Birthday

A World Record is broken with the worlds tallest LEGO Tower 31.9m which was part of the celebration of LEGO Group’s 80th birthday. The LEGO tower was built out of 500,000 bricks, 4,000 children contest winners and 5 days of building time in Seoul Korea’s Olympic City Stadium. LEGO’s have a strong presence in Korea considering it was the first branded toy in the Korean market. The record was broken on Sunday, May 13th 2012. Check out this momentous event below.

One Piece A Bathing Ape Collection May/June 2012

Japanese Street-wear company A Bathing Ape has teamed up with the popular Manga/Anime series One Piece by Eiichiro Oda. BABE is bring Oda’s colorful band of pirates Luffy, Chopper and Zoro on printed tee shirts just in time for summer. The One Piece A Bathing Ape Collection will drop in two release dates the first eight (pictures below) will hit BABE flag ships stores and specialty retailers May 26, with the second run releasing June 2, 2012. (of the last four tee shirts on the very bottom)

The Ghostbusters Tour of New York

Oh I don’t know what to think about this it might be too geeky for me but the concept I have to admit is pretty awesome. I wish I had thought of something so clever as this. Though these guys obviously blog for bleeding cool! Three yuppie friends moved to New York and put together a cool reenactment tour through New York City based off scenes from the first Ghostbusters film. These guys shot this all in one day apparently on May 1, 2012 between 10:30 am and 5 pm. I like it.
