Wow the Skylanders booth based off the interactive video game was pretty incredible thought I would share this fantastic display of these life-size characters. the colors and texture beat any other booth at the 2012 New York Toy Fair hands down. Definitely not an expert on the game so not sure who the characters are? so if anyone could assist would be deeply appreciate. I think now I’m looking to get into following this game based of the NYTF display!

The game is the sequel to the best-selling LEGO Batman and complements the brand new, recently released LEGO Super Heroes: DC Universe toy collection. The line includes five construction sets, such as The Batcave and three buildable, detailed action figures.

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, the Dynamic Duo Batman and Robin join forces with DC Universe heroes Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to save Gotham City from destruction from villains Lex Luthor and the Joker.

South Park: The Game is a full-scale role playing game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC developed by Obsidian Entertainment which has a loose release date for sometime late in 2012, some skeptics are even saying it may not be until 2013. Either-way if you’re not familiar with Obsidian they are the makers of role playing video games like Fallout: 2.

There is a great deal of the games creative direction directly coming from Matt Stone and Trey Parker it was important for them to make sure the game follows the look and feel of the orignal South Park cartoon that you see on Comedy Central. Yet giving the player(s) the options to control what the characters do into the video-game. As “the new kid” you will have to make friends and defend the town from a wide range of threats through out South Park.

Game Informer did an excellent in-depth interview with Chris Parker and Feargus Urquhart form Obsidian it’s a must read for any South Park fan. The game looks super exciting and I can’t wait to play it!

It’s almost time for the highly anticipated PlayStation Vita to arrive in America February 22, 2012, the system dropped mid December in Asia with a starting price of $224.00. The PSV or PSVita or just plain old Vita is part of the eighth generation of gaming systems, it is the successor to the PlayStation Portable or also known as the PSP.

The handheld includes two analog sticks, a 5-inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen, the Vita supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G internally. The PlayStation Vita will be released as two different versions: one with 3G support, and a cheaper version without 3G support. There is a 4 core processor and a 4 core graphics unit. Its battery life will last 3–5 hours of game-play.

PS Vita is equipped with a storage media slot or you can also buy more memory based on your use with PS Vita card slot.

There are so many stats to this device it would take forever to dissect and link. But we will keep you posted on what cool games will come out for the console.

Check out The Street Fighter Game Station Movie with a catchy 8-bit intro made exclusively to announce the release date for the free update version of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition. SSF4 updated is said to have a more semi-balanced feel and available for download December 13, 2011. This update comes free to Xbox Live and Playstation Network with a later set date is said for PC. Here is a sneak peek of the Disney latest video game characters from the Disney Universe which is introducing a downloadable “Disney Villains Costume Pack” available now on the Xbox LIVE online entertainment network and the PlayStation Network. Players can suit up and battle friends in five new costumes inspired by Disney’s most infamous villains Cruella de Vill from 101 Dalmatians, Hades from Hercules, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, The Evil Queen from Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs and Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
