The Decepticons are causing havoc! by crashing into the Fairwinds Credit Union Building in downtown Orlando to promote Universal Studios new Transformers: The Ride 3D, opening June 20, 2013. Creative Ad agency David&Goliath is responsible for trail of destruction, which includes fallen debris, smashed cars and the silhouette of an 80-foot tall alien robot (possibly the evil lord Megatron) crashed through the Fairwinds Credit Union building. I wish alien robots would cause havoc through NYC! Check out more photos below.

The nice people over at The Hub invited me and my guest to a very intimate pre-Halloween Media party at Dylan’s Candy Bar in the Upper East Side. If you haven’t been to Dylan’s you definitely need to go! its three levels of sweet yummy goodness. The Hub party was located on the top bar level, which was decked out in a Hub/Halloween theme. They had specialized drinks (non-alcoholic), mini-cupcakes, pizza, even PB&J sammiches. Along with prizes like Transformer Prime, My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop toys, face painting and decorate your own cookie stations.
Another cool collaboration with Japanese street-wear company A Bathing Ape (BAPE) featuring characters from the popular American franchise Hasbro’s Transformers. This is their second collaboration with Transformers, though this time there are eight tee shirts in total with two “BAPExclusives” using the “Transformer Prime” generation characters along with Baby Milo. These shirts will be hitting flagship stores with in the month so stay posted. Check out the entire collection below.
Check out this 2007 Nike collaboration with Japanese toy manufacturer Takara-Tomy and James Visaya who used Nike “Frees” materials to mold a nice Optimus Prime and Megatron. The “Transshoeformers” pictured below are a pair of OG Nike Air Flight Huarache and OG Asics Gel-Lyte III in disguise. I think any Transformer collector would be pleased to own one of these.
Today was the grand opening of the Transformers: The Ride-3D at Universal Studios Hollywood, California. Stars of the ride Optimus Prime and Bumblebee walked the red carpet for the opening ceremonies. I love the detail of the robot costumes, they are pretty amazing. I think I need a Transformer costume for Halloween! Check out videos of the grand opening below.
