Steven Spielberg The Adventures of TinTin grabs Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film

That’s right even though The Adventures of Tintin did not hit well in the American box office but this classic Hergé comic made into performance capture 3D film blew its’ 2D/3D competitors out Nickelodeon’s Rango; Sony’s Arthur Christmas; Disney/Pixar Cars 2 and even the hilarious animated comedy which I thought was sure to win Dreamworks Puss In Boots out of the water! The Adventures of TinTin directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson took home a Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film of 2011 congratulations to the winners!

New news on The Adventures of Tintin Spielberg has claimed that his co-producer Peter Jackson will start shooting Tintin part two this year, when Jackson is done shooting The Hobbit, he start working with actors on performance capture later this year. Spielberg also noted that the screenplay is currently being written for the sequel based on the Tintin volume Prisoners of the Sun (though it maybe taking another direction) and another story in the series which has yet to be disclosed.
