Disney’s “The Muppets … Again!” kicked off production last week in London. The all-new global Muppets adventure welcomes Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey to the mayhem, along with the rest of the Muppet gang. The film is directed by James Bobin, produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, screenplay by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller. “The Muppets … Again!” will feature music from Academy Award-winning songwriter Bret McKenzie who won an Oscar for best original song for “The Muppets” (“Man or Muppet”).

The Muppets … Again! hits theaters March 21, 2014.

Disney’s “The Muppets …Again!” takes the entire Muppets gang on a whirlwind global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais.

Kermit the Frog loses all hope in saving the Muppet Theatre and needs assistance from an Angel. In this family feature paying homage to “It’s A Wonderful Life” Muppet style.

The special originally aired in 2002 has a star studded Muppet cast along with other cast members including: David Arquette, Joan Cusack and Whoopi Goldberg.

The Jim Henson Co. made its Chick-Fil-A announcement on its Facebook page on Friday:

“The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over 50 years and we have notified Chick-Fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors. Lisa Henson, our CEO is personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD.”

Chick-fil-A really buried themselves with this one. Now certain cities will do whatever it takes to make sure new Chick-Fil-A will not be allowed to build up.
