The Old Man And The Sea by Marcel Schindler Stop-Motion Animation

This is a sweet stop-motion animation rendition of Ernest Hemingway’s novel The Old Man and the Sea published in 1952. The book takes place in Santiago, an aging fisherman who struggles with a giant marlin far out in the Gulf Stream. Dutch artist Marcel Schindler remakes this classic tale and brings it to life with a live drawing set done in marker. the drawings are very simple and nice but seriously the drum and bass or dubset music whatever it has to go, horrible choice. You would think when you spend day in and day out looking at the ocean horizon something classical would come to mind. Check the video below.

ParaNorman 3D stop-motion animated comedy thriller. Produced by Laika and distributed by Universal Pictures and Focus Features. Hit’s theaters August 17, 2012. ParaNorman follows the story of an outcast boy named Norman who can speak to the dead. His oddity becomes a gift when he takes on ghosts and zombies to save his town from a curse that has been plagued for centuries. I used to be a huge fan of zombie movies till I watch them all. I am looking forward to this animated zombie movie. I put together some of the latest movie posters and the trailers I hope you enjoy them.

The Pirates Band Of Misfits is an upcoming stop-motion, 3D animated comedy film set to drop into US theaters March 30, 2012 with an earlier release date in the UK March 28. 2012. The Pirates Band Of Misfits is produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Aardman Animations and directed by Peter Lord. The film is based on the first two books from the The Pirates! series by Gideon Defoe, The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists and The Pirates! in an Adventure with Whaling.
Tim Burtons The Addams Family stop-motion animated movie 2014

Talks of a stop-motion animated movie for the weirdest family on the block is in the works. The Addams Family has returned with producer Christopher Meledandri and the likely hood of the film being directed by Tim Burton is very high. The films itself will be in black and white Gothic style, stop-motion animation that follows the original comics by Charles Addams. No word yet on if the move will be in 3D but we will keep you posted as the film unravels!
