Inside Nickelodeon Family Suites Nick Hotel

Here is a quick instagram picture from a balcony inside the Nickelodeon Family Suites, is a kid-centered hotel in Orlando, Florida, near the Universal Orlando Resort and one mile from Walt Disney World Resort. For those of us who have never been what a colorful hotel this is, as you can see it features Dora the Explorer’s head along with Jimmy Neutron head. Would you want to spend the night at the Nick Hotel? I would.

Saturday March 17, 2012 starting at 8:00am at the west entrance of Nickelodeon Universe come celebrate the grand opening of Nickelodeon Universe NEW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles “Shell Shock” ride! This opening is a bit different the your average event. Nickelodeon Universe is asking fans to help them, break the World Record for the Largest Gathering of Ninja Turtles. So come dressed as Mikey, Donnie, Raph or Leo. All participants will receive a Turtles t-shirt and mask while supplies last and get to ride Shell Shock for FREE!

In 2011 Nickelodeon debuted the first trailer for “The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra” at San Diego Comic-Con, check out the three new clips hyping the highly anticipated continuation of Avatar: The Last Airbender created by Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. Avatar: The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after the events of “The Last Airbender” in a steam-punk society following the adventures of fearless teenaged girl named Korra from the Southern Water Tribe. Korra possesses three of the four elements Earth, Water, and Fire. The series takes you a journey with Korra as she seeks to master the final element of Air. There is still no word of when the actual series will air on Nickelodeon but we’ll keep you posted as dates arise. More >
