The LEGO’s comes together…The 8-foot-tall, 100-pound fiberglass statue Lego Man discovered on the Siesta Key Beach in Florida, October 26, 2011 wearing a shirt saying “NO REAL THAN YOU ARE” with the name “Ego Leonard” written on the back. This was all part of an anonymous Dutch artist’s Ego Leonard experiment. Also known as Dutch guerrilla artist Leon Keer who happens to be one of the artist in Sarasota this week participating in the city’s annual chalk festival.

Ego’s website also includes photos and videos of the Lego Man’s adventures around the world a project that has been going on since 2007.

Inspired by the children’s book by Judi Barrett and Ron Barrett. Sony Pictures Animation, presents it’s third theatrical, 3D computer animated film. In its 2.35:1 aspect ratio, will drop September 18, 2009 in 3D and IMAX select theaters. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs drops September 18, 2009, giving homage to parody disaster movies: Twister, Armageddon, and The Day After Tomorrow. The story plot follows the story about two children who hear, a story about a town called Chewandswallow, from their Grandpa Henry. Where in Town of Chewandswallow, the weather is always food and beverage! and comes three times a day, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Production of the film started in 2006 by Sony Pictures Animation and now is being distributed by Columbia Pictures. In collaboration with co-director by Chris Miller and co-writer Philip Lord. The film features the voices of Bill Hader (Inventer: Flint Lockwood), Anna Faris (Weather girl: Sam Sparks), Bruce Campbell, James Caan, Bobb’e J. Thompson, Andy Samberg, Mr. T, Benjamin Bratt, Neil Patrick Harris, Al Roker, Lauren Graham, and Will Forte. film is rated PG

9-9-99. A day that lives in infamy with all Sega and Sonic fans, as it marked the release of not only the last Sega platform but also the last great Sonic title — Sonic Adventure. After the two Adventure titles on the Dreamcast, we would subsequently be forced to forfeit our Sonic nostalgia for distrust, as we patiently waited for then played, Sonic The Hedgehog ’06. (Oh, the load times!) However, Unleashed showed some promising game play during the daytime elements and the 2-D aspects in particular. But lack on the werehog levels and bland adventuring, it just was not the Sonic game that fans were hoping for. Sega must of finally got the message,  they are now working on another 2-D Sonic game in HD that promises to bring back the speed of the blue blur we all love so much! But with so many years of empty promises to bring Sonic back to form, will Sega really deliver the Sonic to end all Sonics?

While it is understandable to be concerned about such themes as rape, it is not real! Nobody is actually being harmed, as this is merely animation that was created in the imagination of the artists. As disturbing and offensive as such animations may be, banning them is an attack on not only the imagination of Japan, but all mankind! It seems South Park’s imagination land episodes held a bit of foresight to them after all.

One such anime that springs to mind is Ninja Scroll, and it’s infamous rape scene. However, seeing this did not make me a fan of rape nor did it “normalize” it for me. If anything, it reflected an ugly aspect of life that unfortunately does happen. And isn’t that what art is supposed to do — to reflect the condition of the world in which we live? Although games, anime, and comics depicting rape and other forms of sexual violence may seem immoral, I reference Oscar Wilde when I say that art IS immoral.

I’m sure there is much debate to be had on this topic, and I would love to hear your thoughts on the legislation!

Lucasfilm, Dark Horse Comics along with THQ Wireless have teamed up to bring Star Wars comics to the iPhone!The collection span between the Clone Wars era, the Classic era and the distant future, representing the most influential periods of time in the history of the Star Wars galaxy.
Lucasfilm, THQ Wireless and Dark Horse carefully reformatted each panel and page to maximize the visual grandeur while staying true to the original comic books.

The selection consists of:

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Vol. 1 – Shipyards of Doom: is based on the wildly popular animated series from Lucasfilm Animation and highlights events from the epic time period when Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Padawan Ahsoka Tano struggled to maintain order and peace in a war-torn galaxy. Shipyards of Doom will be release in its entirety, written by Henry Gilroy, and drawn by the Fillbach Brother.

Star Wars: Empire Vol. 1 – Betrayal: set just weeks before the events of the original film, Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and follows a faction of disgruntled Imperial Officers attempting to overthrow Emperor Palpatine. But the plot is complicated by the emergence of the bounty hunter Boba Fett and by the loyalty of Darth Vader to his dark master. Betrayal will be released in four chapters, written by Scott Allie and drawn by Brian Horton.

Star Wars: Legacy Vol. 1 – Broken: takes place more than a century after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi and focuses on a fifth-generation Skywalker named Cade, a rogue Jedi and bounty hunter who travels the galaxy living by his own code. Broken will be released in two parts, written by John Ostrander and drawn by Jan Duursema.

Cartoon Network is up dating it’s image with an all new line up of kids programming, combining live-action and animation with all. Earlier this month CN announced two new cartoons production on Regular Show and Horrorbots will join, the journey-themed animation The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Adventure Time.
CN’s two new animated programs includes: Regular Show which follows the strange lives of two, groundskeepers Mordecai a blue jay and Rigby, a raccoon, created by J. G. Quintel. Horrorbots, is about two high school outsider teenage droids, Thrasher and Blastus on the planet Killglobe, created by Michael Buckley and Joe Deasy, along with co-executive producer Christy Karacas.
CN has renewed Flapjack for additional episodes for a total of forty-six episodes. Flapjack is about a washed-up pirate-explorer Captain K’nuckles along with his sailor-boy predecessor Flapjack and their crazy adventures through the sea, with no shortage of candy! An Adventure Time, which has not aired yet on CN has been given the go-ahead for additional episode write-ups as well. Both cartoons will be produced at Cartoon Network Studios with a 2010 premiere.

Ad agency Executive Center, Luanda, Angola along with creative directors: Antonio Pascoa, Claudio Rafael, art directors: Dogo Peixoto, Anderson Nielson and Illustrator: Goncalo Lopes put together this ultra ethnic Simpsons family is super laid back with a nice brown tan and looks like Homer gave up Duff for some exotic fruity juices instead! Not 100% positive what time slot the episodes will be airing, but the ad is definitely getting allot of hype.
