R.I.P Adam Yauch aka MCA Beastie Boys “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win”

If you were a teenage of the 90′s like myself you were probably definitely listening to the Beastie Boys on your tape playing walk-man. So it’s very sad news today (with all the good news happening) That Beastie Boys member MCA real name Adman Yach has passed away. I don’t know what the world will do with out Beastie boys I am so sad. Here is one the of last video Beastie Boys they made together it happens ti feature action figures based of the Beastie Boys Gang Mike D (Michael Diamond) (vocals, drums), MCA (Adam Yauch) (vocals, bass), and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz) (vocals, guitar). Adam was born in Brooklyn and died today at the age of 47. This is the longer version of Beastie Boys “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win (featuring Santigold)” off their album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two. Directed by the legendary Spike Jonze. Ok by no means would I consider myself a Major Lazer fan in fact I think I had made fun of people who are. JK. Seriously the Major Lazer new music video “Get Free” featuring Amber of Dirty Projectors is pretty cool. The animation art is very much rotoscoping no? and reminds me of something I can’t put my finger on, I’m trying to figure out the artist does anyone know? check out the music video below, what do you think?

Sony Poncho Pooch Cafe Movie

Sony Pictures Animation announced plans to turn Pooch Cafe an Canadian and American comic strip written and illustrated by Paul Gilligan into a full length CG animated movie. Following the comic strip about Poncho’s life with his master, Chazz, and Chazz’s cat-loving wife, Carmen who owns six cats. You will get to meet Poncho and his buddies Boomer, Hudson, Droolia (a female Bullmastiff with a drooling problem), Gus (a Scottish Terrier), Beaumont (or “Bobo”, the owner of the titular cafe), Poo Poo (a Bichon Frise), and a zen goldfish named “Fish” The strip takes its name from the cafe where Poncho and his friends gather to compare notes about life among the humans.

Casting Call this weekend for Live-Action TMNT Movie

Mirage Studios, 4Kids Entertainment and TMNT Productions are looking for Martial Arts Experts for the Foot Clan!
The casting call is part of the 25th Anniversary Shell-ebration of the “Heroes on a Half Shell.” The new live action adaption of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, hits theaters in 2011.

When: Saturday, July 18, 2009 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Where: Hollywood & Highland, 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028
