Snoop Dogg E3 Performance – “Let The Bass Go”

Turbo x Snoop Dogg ‘Let the Bass Go’

Snoop Dogg/Lion sat down with Rolling Stone magazine to introduce his character Smoove Move, for DreamWorks upcoming animation Turbo, “He’s a slick-talking, slow-walking son of a snail,” Snoop explains. “They approached me about doing a voice in the movie, so I said, ‘Why not?’, I love animated movies, and I’ve always been loved by the kids, but I didn’t know how to target that audience. This is the perfect way.” Along with lending his voice Snoop also contributed a new song titled “Let the Bass Go,” for the closing credits. The song features a 808 bass style something that everyone can shake too. DreamWorks Turbo races into theaters July 17, 2013.

Disney x Pixar’s new animated feature film Monsters University will rock theaters starting June 21, 2013! The film will featuring new music from award-winning composer Randy Newman and Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia. Pharrell Williams “Happy” From Despicable Me 2 Soundtrack

Rolling Stone has just released the new song by Pharrell Williams and composer Heitor Pereira titled “Happy”, from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, which will be available for pre-order starting June 11, 2013 with a release date June 18, 2013. Alberto Mielgo Art Director and Production Designer for Disney’s Tron Uprising has complied some of his favorite scenes from the animates series complimented by an industrial track. Smurfs 2 Song Ooh La La Performed by Britney Spears

Pop star Britney Spears will be lending her voice talents for the end credits of Sony Animation’s Smurfs 2 animated film with an original track titled “Ooh La La”, that will also be on the Smurfs 2 soundtrack.

Britney says: “I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they’ll think it’s Smurftastic!”

She also tweeted: “Remember that surprise song I recorded for my boys? It’s coming soon! #OohLaLa for #TheSmurfs2 Stay tuned for more.”

Smurf’s director, Raja Gosnell commented: “I am very excited that Britney is joining our Smurfy adventure. ‘Ooh La La’ is the perfect Smurf-party song, and the perfect button on the film for audiences around the world.”

Smurfs 2 hits theaters July 31, 2013.

Longtime Tim Burton film composer collaborator Danny Elfman recently used his musical talents for the opening sequence to the 2013 adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s Oz the Great and Powerful. If I didn’t know better this opening sequence seems to have Burton style written all over it, what do you think? Danny Elfman and Tim Burton have joined artistic forces for more than 25 years. On other news to celebrate their 25 years of conjoined talents, on October 7, 2013 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Elfman will sing publicly for the first time in 18 years, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra, performing notable songs from Burton’s classic films, with original production artwork and drawings from the films to create a visual backdrop.
