Smurfs 2 Song Ooh La La Performed by Britney Spears
Pop star Britney Spears will be lending her voice talents for the end credits of Sony Animation’s Smurfs 2 animated film with an original track titled “Ooh La La”, that will also be on the Smurfs 2 soundtrack.
Britney says: “I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they’ll think it’s Smurftastic!”
She also tweeted: “Remember that surprise song I recorded for my boys? It’s coming soon! #OohLaLa for #TheSmurfs2

Smurf’s director, Raja Gosnell commented: “I am very excited that Britney is joining our Smurfy adventure. ‘Ooh La La’ is the perfect Smurf-party song, and the perfect button on the film for audiences around the world.”
Smurfs 2 hits theaters July 31, 2013.

Danny Elfman’s Oz the Great and Powerful Opening Sequence and History with Tim Burton
Longtime Tim Burton film composer collaborator Danny Elfman recently used his musical talents for the opening sequence to the 2013 adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s Oz the Great and Powerful. If I didn’t know better this opening sequence seems to have Burton style written all over it, what do you think? Danny Elfman and Tim Burton have joined artistic forces for more than 25 years. On other news to celebrate their 25 years of conjoined talents, on October 7, 2013 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Elfman will sing publicly for the first time in 18 years, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra, performing notable songs from Burton’s classic films, with original production artwork and drawings from the films to create a visual backdrop. New Animated Series – Teen Titans Go! Starts April 23 on Cartoon Network
Fan-favorite DC Comics The Teen Titans are returning to television! Cartoon Network announced an official premiere date for the new series, Teen Titans Go! Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30pm (ET/PT) then will join the DC Nation Block, Saturday mornings at 10:30am (ET/PT) beginning April 27, 2013. Teen Titans Go! will follow the new adventures of teen superheroes Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg. Teen Titans Go! is a revival of the 2003-2006 Teen Titans series, with the original Titans cast. A version of the Titans J-Pop theme song will be remixed by Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys) that should be cool! Read bits from press-release below.
