The Pirates Band Of Misfits is produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Aardman Animations and directed by Peter Lord. The film is based on the first two books from the The Pirates! series by Gideon Defoe, The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists and The Pirates! in an Adventure with Whaling.

Beauty and the Beast by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, in 1991 Walt Disney Animation Studios adapted into an animated fantasy 2D film it was the thirtieth film in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series.

McDonald’s Alvin And The Chipmunks Chipwrecked Movie Happy Meal Toys

McDonald’s has teamed up with Alvin and the Chipmunks to promote its lasted animated comedy Chipwrecked which sinks into theaters December 16, 2011 action packed comedy. Based on the characters by Ross Bagdasarian, Jr. and Janice Karman. The film is distributed by 20th Century Fox, produced by Regency Enterprises and Bagdasarian Productions. McDonald’s Happy Meal has produced a set of plastic toys featuring the Alvin Simon Theodor, Brittany, Jennette and Elenore. With two variations of Simon and Alvin.
Tim Burtons The Addams Family stop-motion animated movie 2014

Talks of a stop-motion animated movie for the weirdest family on the block is in the works. The Addams Family has returned with producer Christopher Meledandri and the likely hood of the film being directed by Tim Burton is very high. The films itself will be in black and white Gothic style, stop-motion animation that follows the original comics by Charles Addams. No word yet on if the move will be in 3D but we will keep you posted as the film unravels!

Kristen Stewart as Kei In The Live-Action Akira Movie

A live-action american adoption based off the 1988 manga Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo is getting a lot of buzz since word of offering Kristen Stewart the role as Kei, a woman who is part of an underground movement that’s sol purpose is to expose the government for experimenting on orphans turning them into weapons of mass destruction. Stewart as Kei has come to a disappointed to many Akira fans due the film not casting Japanese stars and moving the movie from Neo-Tokyo to New Manhattan. In the anime the city was destroyed by a boy named Akira, who had psychic/supernatural powers. No word yet on who may play Akira other possible cast members for the film include, Garret Hedlund Kaneda, the main character and leader of a biker gang, Gary Oldman as the Colonel and Helena Bonham Carter as Lady Miyako.
