McDonald’s Epic Happy Toys Commercial

Earlier this month I wrote about the latest McDonald’s Happy Toys featuring the latest characters from Blue Sky Studio’s Epic animated adventure film which dropped into theaters today. McDonald’s has released a commercial promoting the new Epic Happy Meal Toys check it out below. Get your Happy Meal of EPIC proportions now!

Epic McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys

Blue Sky Studios animated movie Epic is coming to McDonald’s Happy Meal this June 2013. Epic is an upcoming 3D computer animated fantasy-adventure drama film based on William Joyce’s children book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs. Watch for McDonald’s Epic Happy Meal Toys later this month and Make sure you see Epic the movie May 24, 2013.

Italian artist Roberto Vergati Santos takes superhero inspiration from DC and Marvel artist Admira Wijaya, Jim Lee, David Finch, Alex Ross, Derek Laufman, Ryan Meinerding, Alex Maleev, Gabriele Dell’Otto, Carlo Pagulayan, Jorge Pepelife, Adi Granov, Phil Noto…one step further. By rebranding these classic heroes he gives us a peek into the not so far future (give or take a superhero). There might be a day when our armed forces will be sponsored by are local gas station or grocery stores. We have seen sponsorship on athletes so it could just be a matter of time before our real life protectors are adorn in iconic branding logos. If you have ever seen the Japanese anime Tiger and Bunny, in the series each of the city’s superheroes work for a sponsor company and their uniforms also contain advertising for real-life companies (Like Pepsi and Softbank). Earlier this month I posted about the latest McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys featuring Activision‘s popular Skylanders characters. I am ecstatic that Activision hit me up with high resolutions images of the Happy Meal figures to share which feature Spyro, Gill Grunt, Drobot, Chop Chop, Ignitor, Jet-Vac, Tree Rex, Crusher and Kaos. Though these 9 collectables character figures are not usable in the game, they will have dexterity with their limbs! In addition to the Skylanders Giants Happy Meal figures a special coupon offer of $10 off the Skylanders Giants starter pack is included. And what’s great about this collaboration is, even if your kids aren’t hungry you can still pick up a Sklyanders figure for just $1! I dunno about but I’ll be getting a Skylanders toy and some fires! Check out the latest McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys featuring DreamWorks upcoming animated feature film about the prehistoric family The Croods. There are 6 new collectibles toys inspired by the main characters Grug, Guy, Eep, Ugga, Thunk, from The Croods. The Toys seem to be a type of catapult where maybe you can fling Belt, Guy’s pet sloth and other prehistoric animals through the air. You’ll being seeing in McDonald’s Happy Meal’s later this month.

McDonald’s Happy Meal Hello Kitty and Transformers Toys

Another round of Hello Kitty and Transformers toys set to hit McDonald’s Happy Meal boxes, starting January 2013!

The Hello Kitty Happy Meal toys feature a very active Kitty! from reading to tennis, from baking to painting, collect all six Hello Kitty figures!

Hasbro’s Transformers Prime series has become a huge hit on The Hub, now you can take home all the action with six posable figures!

Check out the upcoming Happy Meal toys hitting McDonald’s December 2012.  Inspired by the DreamWorks Animation Rise of the Guardians characters North, Bunnymund, Jack Frost, Tooth and Sandy. The only thing I wish they had done was made a Pitch figure. I’m sure it would of come out really cool.  Keep an eye out for these guys at your local McDonald’s.
