eBay’s Original Animation Cels – South Florida’s Prestigious Charles Mahan Collection

eBay is having an Original Animation Cels Event from The Property of the University of South Florida’s Prestigious Charles Mahan Collection. Fans can choose from loads of original animation cels depicting popular characters from Disney, Hanna Barbara, Ralph Bakshi and more. Charles Mahan, the former dean and professor emeritus at the University of South Florida’s College of public health, donated his personal collection of original political cartoons, animations and comic strips to the University of South Florida’s Tampa campus library in 2006. Dr. Mahan, who was recently interviewed by The New York Times regarding his extensive political cartoon collection check out the video Art of the Poison Pens below. Portions of these works will benefit the ongoing USF Foundation collection mission. Winning bidder will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with the artwork. Below are some of my favorites.

Alex Zamm’ s Hong Kong Phooey Featuring Marvin the Martian in Live-action Film

Ok I don’t know what say about these two live-action adaptations based off some of my favorite classic Looney Tunes characters, other than I wish it was really coming out!

Even though Christmas is over, who says we still can’t celebrate? check out a real life Marvin the Martian in Hong Kong Phooey a live-action movie directed by Alex Zamm, produced Bob Engelman for Alcon & Rat Entertainment.

Zamm has posted two test footage “Yule be sorry” and another featuring Hong Kong Phooey from the proposed film, originally Hong Kong Phooey was to be voiced by Eddie Murphy, but I don’t think it is him, in these clips.

CW: Supernatural - Hunteri Heroici Looney Tunes Style
Ok so I have to admit I have NEVER watched CW’s Supernatural TV series. But I was reading all the reviews of the episode titled “Hunteri Heroici” written by Paul A. Edwards who also writes for Once Upon a Time. And so I had to watch the episode myself, this was one of the most creative cross-overs I have seen in along time. It featured cartoon-like events inspired by Looney Tunes episodes. I personally LOVE anything Looney Tunes so “Hunteri Heroici” was quite a treat I really don’t want to give it away cause I’m not into spoilers until after I watch things myself. But one of the best parts of the entire episode was the talking cat! So cute!

New Exclusive Looney Tunes Theatrical Shorts
New Looney Tunes Theatrical Shorts were sent to me today so I thought I would share them! These shorts have never before been released to the public are only available on the Looney Tunes Shorts YouTube Channel so subscribe now! One of my favorite character from Looney Tunes is definitely Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner. In this new 3-minute shorts the duo meet again in a new-and-improved chase for survival. First is “Rabid Ride” Wile E. Coyote keeps his usual antics up with the intent to use an ACME Hyper Sonic Transport to catch Road Runner, but the transport has inherent problems of its own. And don’t forget “Fur of Flying” to see Wile E. use a makeshift copter-helmet to catch Road Runner, whilst avoiding heat-seeking missiles. Check out both videos below.
