Martin Scorsese gets to take home a Golden Globe for Best Director for a Motion Picture for the 3D animated film Hugo. This was Scorsese’s first film shot in 3D based on Brian Selznick’s novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret about a boy who lives alone in a Paris railway station and the enigmatic owner of a toy shop.
