eBay’s Original Animation Cels – South Florida’s Prestigious Charles Mahan Collection
eBay is having an Original Animation Cels Event from The Property of the University of South Florida’s Prestigious Charles Mahan Collection. Fans can choose from loads of original animation cels depicting popular characters from Disney, Hanna Barbara, Ralph Bakshi and more. Charles Mahan, the former dean and professor emeritus at the University of South Florida’s College of public health, donated his personal collection of original political cartoons, animations and comic strips to the University of South Florida’s Tampa campus library in 2006. Dr. Mahan, who was recently interviewed by The New York Times regarding his extensive political cartoon collection check out the video Art of the Poison Pens below. Portions of these works will benefit the ongoing USF Foundation collection mission. Winning bidder will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with the artwork. Below are some of my favorites.
NASCAR Kyle Petty Brickyard Garfield Driving Suit
So since it’s pretty dead on the internet, due to all the Holiday vacationing and celebrating. I thought I would just post some cool stuff I found on eBay, there is still time to shop!
First I found this pretty amazing used brickyard Garfield fire-resistant driving suit. Worn by former American NASCAR driver Kyle Petty in 2003 right before he retired.
You can own original fire-suit for a small price of US$9,999.99, that’s a reasonable price right?

Orange Christmas 2012 Maritime Garfield x Panda-a-Panda – Event
This past week Garfield collaborated with his buddy Panda-a-Panda for a very special Christmas event at the Maritime Square in Hong Kong. Immerse yourself in a pop-up city as Martitime Square has been transformed into a Orange Wonderland. With Garfield and Panda-a-Panda by his side they invite friends to celebrate in the festivities. The event features very cute limited edition Garfield x Panda-a-Panda collectables. If you are lucky and will be in Hong Kong you can experience this one of a kind Orange Christmas till January 1, 2013. Check out pictures below.

Have you seen the recent collaboration with Jim Davis’ Garfield and Hong Kong based toy company Panda-a-Panda? I think it has something to do with the celebration of both Garfield and Jim Davis’ birthdays? regardless I am really feeling these cell phone cases for the Samsung Galaxy S III featuring the one and only orange tabby Garfield infused with the black and white Panda-a-Panda. Simple sleek minimalist design and color is perfect for any new or old collector of all things Garfield. Check out more pictures below. Here I have complied (with a little help) a list of the top 20 exclusive San Diego Comic Con toys. These are some of the hottest and the rarest toys in the industry. The resale value on the went through the roof right after the Comic Con. And those lucky to have profited from them or where just lucky enough to have added them to their collection. Left everyone leaving the San Diego Comic Con very happy. The list goes from 1 to 20, 20 being the number 1 toy of SDCC 2012. I hope you enjoy the list it took me decades to do ( not literally) but if you feel something else should have been on the list leave me a comment!
Clot x Odie from Garfield Collection – Juice Hong Kong Boutique Opening
Hong Kong retail store Juice has opened its newest boutique in the Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon district, Hong Kong. This opening was part of a special collaboration with Clot and Garfield’s Odie. The line featured a small collection that consisted of a couple of tee-shirts and a mug. Check more pictures below of the store and the complete collection. I love the Odie shirts, how about you?
