Louis Vuitton’s The Game Parade – Animated Video by Honet
The one thing Louis Vuitton and I have in common is that we both love board games. Gaston-Louis like me is a collector of various games such as chess, backgammon, dice, mahjong, dominoes and cards. Through out the years LV has demonstrated his passion for such classic fun, so it is only fitting that his most recent installation goes one step further with a animated promo presenting the fantastic and surrealist voyage inside a Louis Vuitton game case. Featuring the art of French graffiti artist and illustrator Honet takes viewers on a psychedelic journey with a pool ball as a guide. In one continuous spiralling thread the graphic composition features many of the board and table games Louis Vuitton once created, ranging from the pool table to the classic chess board.
The first instalment in LV game focused series animated by Ill Studio made its debute back in July of 2012 is also posted below.
The Super Expensive Noble Collection Batman Chess Set
A chess game fitted only for the liked of the Wayne Mannor or the elite Batman fan. The Noble Collection boasts “50 LED lights encircling the clear playing surface with a Gotham cityscape underneath.” The board measures 20-inches square, which in turn enable playing pieces (The Joker, Catwoman, Riddler and Penguin, Batman, Robin, Batgirl and Commissioner Gordon) that stand 5.5-inches tall – they’re made from fine pewter and diecast metal. A Bat-Signal position in the middle of the board shoots into the sky or the eyes of your opponent when you’re about to lose. LOL.
The chess set costs a small fortune of only $800 through The Noble Collection site.
