Pixar Toy Story Real Life Andy’s Room

After toying with the idea of Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time or Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas nursery room themes. Soon to be father of Jack Always, daddy Jonaas, eventually decided on Pixar‘s Toy Story films. The next task was how to recreate Andy’s Room. A long time fan of the films, Jonaas used resources and inspirations from Pixar Planet forums along with the films to hash out the rooms every detail. Using material resources from places like Ikea, etsy, Walmart, Target, Kinkos and eBay. Jonaas got to work, based primarily on Andy’s room in Toy Story 2, the room also takes bits and pieces from the other two films. Jonaas first started buying toys resembling Woody and Buzz, Hamm piggy-bank, Rex, and even a bucket of Little Green Army Men with plans to buy more. Moving along with a fresh bucket of sky blue plant the adhesion of bright yellow stars, adding three blue wall-mounted shelves (where the broken toys are exiled to).

Using his carpentry skills to modify a headboard, covered the bed with space-themed sheets, used decals from Pixar Planet forum to create a teepee-covered trashcan, pieced back together a red swing-arm (Pixar) lamp, altered a Mickey Mouse wristwatch wall clock, printed out an “ABC Round-Up” poster, assembled a secret Nerf Arsenal compartment and even recreated a replica of Andy’s little sister Molly’s crib from he first film. This room idea is pretty fantastic, I hope this kid gets into animation now! his room will be forever will inspiration for so many soon to be parents. This replica of Andy’s room (besides a few modifications) is practically everything from the film and from my understanding all it is missing is the mid-century peg-legged desk! what do you think? pretty amazing right?

Girls of all ages can now spend a night or two in Barbie’s real life luxury pink suite!

The Palms in Las Vegas, recently unveiled its latest theme room: a 2,350-square foot Barbie suite in homage to the diva 50th Anniversary/Birthday! Similar to the Barbie Dream House, It has pink walls, pink tables, pink chairs, pink poodle statues, a pink bed, 65 replications of the first ever Barbie doll,(Black & White Bathing Suit Barbie) have been incorporated into a starburst mirror, there is also PLENTY of Barbie artwork and artifacts. Most of the suite’s décor was sourced from the soon-to-be-released  “Barbie Loves Jonathan Adler“ collection. The suite has a maximum capacity of 50 and goes for about $4,000 a night (ouch)!

Soul of Chogokin Tetsujin #28 Saint Cloth Myth Emblem Set the Tamashii Nation 2009 Limited Edition, manufactured by Bandai will be released March 30, 2009.

Tetsujin 28-gō (鉄人28号, “Iron Man #28″) is a 1956 manga written and illustrated by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, who also created Giant Robo. The manga was later adapted into several anime TV series, the first in 1963. It was the first manga to feature a giant robot. The 1963 series was later released in America as Gigantor. A live action motion picture with heavy use of computer generated graphics was produced in Japan in 2005.

Disney StarWars figurine Statues, Disney Hollywood Studios Exculsive

The final four Disney StarWars statues will be available at Disney theme parks this summer. This set includes Mickey Luke, Minnie Leia, Goofy Chewie, and Donald in Carbonite. Disney is only releasing 600 of each figure- 500 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and 100 at Disneyland.
