San Diego Comic Con SDCC New Member ID Registration Is Now Open

The San Diego Comic Con New Member ID registration is open again, for those who were not able to get one earlier this can no ONLY be used industry badges and to receive the most up‑to‑date information on Comic‑Con events. This is a releasable ID so even if you were not able to buy your tickets this year due to the rapid sell-out next year this ID will make your life a tad easier with already having your very own SDCC Member ID.

To celebrate Easter every year for the past 134 years the White House has its annual Easter Egg Roll on the white house lawn. You can only attend if you were invited of you are white house staff member, friend or family. Or if you are lucky enough to win the White House lottery, then you can get in for free! The event will be streamed live all day Monday, April 8, 2012 on WhiteHouse.gov/live. Ok so what’s so special about the White House Easter Egg Roll, and the reason you should watch? well there will be a bunch of your favorite animated characters parading around the White House lawn celebrating Easter, check out the roster of cartoon mascots below. If you happen to be in the New Jersey area The Hoboken Historical Museum‘s Upper Gallery presents Strange Neighbors The Art & Imagination of Puppet Heap Exhibit. Public opening Sunday, March 18, 2012 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Starting with an artist talk and film viewing at 4 pm. About Puppet Heap Founded by artist and designer Paul Andrejco, Puppet Heap is a creative design studio based in Hoboken, New Jersey, productions include the short animated film series “Mother Hubbard Among Others” and “I Knew an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.” The exhibit will be running through March 18 to April 29, 2012.
Admission $2. Free for Children & Museum Members.

Highlighting the 85th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade NYC. Tim Burton will be introducing one of his twisted characters “B” boy who is stitched together from the used birthday balloons left over from the many children’s parties that took place on the upper floors of London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital. B. boy came out having pointed teeth and uneven stitches and was not allowed to play with the children at the hospital. With his spirit deflated, B. withdrew to his room and watched his favorite film ‘The Red Balloon.’ Hoping one day he too would be able to fly above the city and bring joy to one small child. Today is his day!
