This past weekend Mimoco and Lucasfilm announced a limited edition MIMOBOT USB flash drive to celebrate Star Wars Day: May the Fourth be with you! the latest Star Wars MIMOBOT is a fan favorite R2-A6 an R2-series astromech droid related to RD-D2 and part of the Royal Naboo Security Forces in 32 BBY. Starfighter/pilot Ric Olié from the planet Naboo believed that R2-A6 was a good-luck charm. So using him to save your filed might be a good idea! just like all the of Mimoco’s MIMOBOT it’s available up to 128GB and USB 3.0 capabilities, comes preloaded with bonus Mimory and the MimoDesk personalization suite of wallpapers, icons, and avatars. Sony One Piece Walkman
Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece characters Ruff, Sunkist, Sauron, Joe, Nami, the Baixing Gong main will be gracing their images on limited edition Sony Walkman mp3 players in a variety of colors, that will also include exclusive limited edition accessories pictured above. Star Wars x Mimoco: Jar Jar Binks MIMOBOT Flash Drive
Mimoco Announced today (no joke) the Jar Jar Binks MIMOBOT designer USB flash drive, in collaboration with Lucasfilm. This particular Jar Jar Binks USB is to celebrate April Fool’s Day, after an upset about the prank release of the character last year. Mimoco went ahead and actually produce a real Jar Jar USB that is extremely limited, only 500 hand-numbered units are now available with up to 128GB of data storage.
“Listen, Jar Jar Binks was a fool. But he was an extremely self-assured fool, and there’s something to be said for that,” explains Jessica Smiley, Director of Social Media at Mimoco. “When mimocult members tried to buy our BinksBOT last year, we said ‘ Gotcha!’ but knew we had to make it right this time around.”
