The guys over at Illumination want you to come up with a caption (limited to 150 characters) for the image above, let your imagination go wild but be inspired by the mayhem of the popular Despicable Me 2 minions. Despicable Me 2 is the sequel to the 2010 film by the same staring Gru (Steve Carell) who is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to help them fight a villain named Eduardo (Al Pacino). Walmart’s Advance Screening – Man of Steel
Walmart and Warner Bros announced they are giving fans a chance to see “Man of Steel” before it hits theaters! Tickets for this advance screening of “Man of Steel,” go on sale in more than 3,700 Walmart stores starting at 8am on May 18, 2013 and will take place at selected local theaters nationwide at 7 p.m. on June 13, 2013. Fans that go see the advance screening can hashtag #SeeSteelFirst and give their opinions of the highly anticipated movie. For more information and to view the selected theaters visit Walmart.com.

The Simpsons’ Couch Gag Contest is down to its three finalists Cheryl Brown, Kyle Debona and Ben Feldman, now it’s time for YOU pick the winner! The couch gag with the most votes and you can vote as many times, will be animated and will appear in The Simpsons season finale episode on Sunday, May 19, 2013 on FOX’s Animation Domination block. Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful flies into theaters March 8, 2013.
Oz The Great and Powerful is directed by Sam Raimi, based off the works of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters. Staring Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting.
Red Bull Flugtag Miami 2012 – Adventure Time Jake and Finn
This past weekend Red Bull Flugtag challenged teams of everyday people to build homemade, human-powered flying machines and pilot them off a 30-foot high deck in hopes of achieving flight! Sounded dangerous and by the looks of the video below it definitely could have been. The one that caught my eye was the Adventure Time flying machine. A giant Jake takes flight into the waves below with a Finn the Human looks alike as the captain. Check out the video below its crazy!!!
The Simpsons Couch Gag Contest – Al Jean & James L. Brooks
Wow I think it has been a while since there was a Simpsons contest and this will top all of them – The Couch Gag Contest is an idea from Al Jean & James L. Brooks. 20 years of gags now it’s your turn. Submit your written idea for a Couch Gag 100 words or less to appear in the opening credits of The Simpsons, and if your idea is selected your gag will premiere at the season’s finale in May 2013. Here are some of the requirements: Your idea needs to be 2-D animation; it must be 30 seconds or shorter; it can’t have dialogue; it can’t have music; it can’t have brands or commercials; it must conform to broadcast standards; and it must use all five family members. El Capitan Theatre x Discovery Science Center: Frankenweenie Science Fair
Discovery Science Center and the El Capitan Theatre are calling all aspiring scientist to join the Frankenweenie Science Fair. Participating students will conduct and submit their own inventive science experiment! Judging for the finalists starts September 10, 2012. This unique science fair will gather the best and brightest students to compete for three grand prizes. With the first 50 participating students receiving a ticket to see Frankenweenie at the historic El Capitan Theatre on October 5, 2012 plus a pair of tickets to visit Discovery Science Center. The remaining six finalists will be selected to have their projects on display at El Capitan Theatre from October 5 to November 1, 2012. With that each will receive Disneyland tickets for them and three guests for reaching this distinguished level.
