Alberto Mielgo Art Director and Production Designer for Disney’s Tron Uprising has complied some of his favorite scenes from the animates series complimented by an industrial track. Mielgo worked 3 years on Tron Uprising also contributing to background painting and layout. I love the background scenes. Check out the re-edit below.
Kevin McShane aka Cartoon Kevin
Artist/Cartoonist/Actor Kevin McShane also known as “Cartoon Kevin” has portrayed himself in 100 different variations inspired by famous cartoon characters and their respectable artist styles. This collection of caricatures took McShane, two years in the making. It was had for me to choose my favorites but I did like the Bill Plympton, John Kricfalusi, Ralph Bakshi and Terry Gilliam, ones only because I love them as artist so the homage to their art is pretty cool. Make sure you don’t miss an all-new episode Gravity Falls titled “Carpet Diem” tonight April 5, 2013 at 9:00pm on the Disney Channel part of Freaky Freakend. With Mabel having Candy and Grenda come for a sleepover every day, Dipper feels uncomfortable about sharing a room with her. When Soos discovers a secret room in the shack, Dipper and Mabel fight over it, but then their bodies are swapped when they make contact with the carpet on the floor of the room. Meanwhile, Soos and Waddles switch bodies as well and Old Man McGucket tries to eat Soos. Check out the preview below.

Don Oriolo a talent musician, song writer and producer has embark on another creative journey and business venture in the art of making custom guitars.
I am by no means an expert on what defines a good guitar. I can tell you I found Oriolo’s love for Felix the Cat especially cool. Felix happens to be one of my all-time favorite cats too!
Oriolo’s Felix guitars vary from bass to electric to ukuleles there is a stringy feline for just about anyone.
Unless you are a dog lover then you are out of luck!

The Young Talented Cartoonist Emma T. Capps
How inspirational is 15-year-old cartoonist Emma T. Capps? well this pint size artist is not only an award-winning cartoonist with her very own comic. But recently taught a two day Halloween-themed comic book workshop at 826 Valencia, in San Francisco, CA.
Capps encouraged students breath life into their ideas by writing and illustrating their very own comic.
