This news has been all over the internet so I thought I would share if you still haven’t heard. Disney and Japanese toy-maker Bandai have collaborated on a Voltron-like collectable toy called “King Robo” part of the Bandai’s Chogokin line. The toy has a story behind it where Mickey Mouse and his pals are the crew inside the robot (Maybe this could turn into a new anime?). “King Robo” will be released sometime in March 2013. Here I have complied (with a little help) a list of the top 20 exclusive San Diego Comic Con toys. These are some of the hottest and the rarest toys in the industry. The resale value on the went through the roof right after the Comic Con. And those lucky to have profited from them or where just lucky enough to have added them to their collection. Left everyone leaving the San Diego Comic Con very happy. The list goes from 1 to 20, 20 being the number 1 toy of SDCC 2012. Gundam Front Mini Theme Park Opening April 19, 2012 Diver City, Tokyo Japan
Exciting news for Gundam fans! A new state of the art Gundam Front Mini Theme Park based of the TV show Mobile Suit Gundam is set to finally open April 19, 2012. Bandai‘s Gundam Front theme park will open at Diver City Tokyo this spring exhibiting all the giant robots, including the full-scale Mobile Suit Gundam RX-78 statue. Most of the park is free though there are special exhibits that will cost a little loot (1,000 Yen for adult visitors.) There is a huge hemispherical dome theater showcasing classic Gundam videos, an archive center and various spots for taking photos with models of Gundam characters. There are some free zones though which include Gundam gift shops selling exclusive park merchandise and a Gundam cafe featuring themed meals and snacks. Can’t wait to visit the park myself how bout you?
