Neon Genesis Evangelion theatrical version hits theaters June 14, 2013 in Japan. To promote the film K-SWISS has launched the K SWISS Classics Evangelion Model Collection which comes in 4 different color-ways that reflect the film. You can also personalize the kicks with your own nickname or whatever you want. This footwear priced around NT$3,090 approximately $103.17 US and can only be purchased through K-Swiss Japan.
My Neighbor Totoro & Howl’s Moving Castle Coming to Blu-ray DVD
Walt Disney Home Entertainment has revealed that it’s bringing the highly anticipated Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki films, My Neighbor Totoro & Howl’s Moving Castle to Blu-ray on May 21, 2013. Both releases will come in “combo pack.”

Band of Outsiders‘ Scott Sternberg latest military style collection titled “BOY” is inspired by Japanese cult film/horror novel “Battle Royale.” No make up, no pedicure straight out of a hellish all-girls boarding school drenched in amazing shibori textiles, fluid fabrics, knitted dresses, perfectly cut blazers and pants bound around the ankles with ties. Yu-Gi-Oh Director Masaki Kitamura Arrested for Making Bomb Threat
Director Masaki Kitamura known for Mobile Suit Gundam 00, was arrested this past weekend for making a bomb threat. Osaka police analyzed the IP address that originated the threat and discovered it was linked to a high-speed wireless LAN device owned by Kitamura. Who was allegedly threatening the innocent with internet slurs “I will commit a massacre in Otaroad [in Osaka's Nipponbashi area] next Sunday. I will ram into pedestrian paradise, and after stabbing indiscriminately with a knife, I will commit suicide” on July 29 at about 9:45 p.m. Werid.

Sailor Moon Anime Series Revamp Slated for 2013
I don’t know if I should be happy about this or not. But another one of my childhood animes is getting a revamp. Word of a new version of Toei Animation’s popular Sailor Moon is in the works summer of 2013. Originally created by Naoko Takeuchi in 1992, the iconic Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon character will be the star of a new anime series, co-produced by Kodansha Comics. This news comes after the Manga has celebrates its 25th anniversary. Not much more information out about the revamp other than Momoiro Clover Z will provide the show’s theme song. Funny how I have the original theme songs on tape cassette lol. I will be interested in seeing how the series turns out. How about you were you a Sailor Moon fan? The Life of Guskou Budori Anime Film Trailer
Children’s writer and poet Kenji Miyazawa finally has been able to share his beloved The Life of Guskou Budori which hits Japanese theaters July 7, 2012. I couldn’t find much on the plot its self so you will have to let the trailer speak for its self. Though Miyazawa’s work has inspired the likes of Leiji Matsumoto to Hayao Miyazak. Check out the trailer below. I like this film cause it is about a cat!
