Even though the movie just hit US theaters this past weekend The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, directed by Steven Spielberg and producer Peter Jackson (and from looks of it didn’t knock the socks off at the box-office) is already out on Blu-Ray in Europe with a complete limited edition box set including very special high quality resin figurines of Tintin and Snowy, which I think is worth more than Blu-ray set it’s self coming at a pre-sale price of 99,99 €. Regardless this exquisite gift and must for any die-hard Tintin fan. The set is scheduled for delivery starting February 27, 2012.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs writer-directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller along with animation studio Animal Logic are working on building a animated live-action hybrid film set in the Lego world. Also producers of the film have linked up with Lego executives in Denmark for inspiration. The film is set to be released in 2014 and casting for the live-action characters begins in January.
