Here is a trailer teaser featuring cast commentary for an up coming 3D animated remake of the book by Roger S. Baum entailed Dorothy of Oz will be directed by Dan St. Pierre produced by Summertime Entertainment. The animated film which drops into theaters August 3, 2012. Follows the story of a returning Dorothy Gale as she finds her self in a devastated Kansas. With nowhere else to go she finds her way back to OZ to find that things are not as she left. For those who have not seen this earlier last month celebrity Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. Snoop Dog went a little bonkers and started prepping for Halloween early this year. Unless I was not aware he will be making a guest appearance in the Avatar sequel. I’m not sure if this picture is old and from last years Halloween or what. It seems to be just now surfacing the net now. Weird non the less, if this is just for dress up purposes I think he is a little old. On a serious note though he looks like a perfect Avatar! even his costume and finger nails on point and the blue is not a bad complexion for him.

Hugo Martin Scorsese Sangs Golden Globe for Best Director for a Motion Picture

Martin Scorsese gets to take home a Golden Globe for Best Director for a Motion Picture for the 3D animated film Hugo. This was Scorsese’s first film shot in 3D based on Brian Selznick’s novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret about a boy who lives alone in a Paris railway station and the enigmatic owner of a toy shop. Hugo was also Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil production company. Congratulations to Martin Scorsese!

Sony Pictures Animation Presents Hotel Transylvania New Picture of Mavis

Hotel Transylvania is an upcoming computer-animated 3D film produced by Sony Pictures Animation set to hit theaters September 21, 2012. Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, known for his work on Cartoon Network’s Samurai Jack and Dexter’s Laboratory. The story follows Dracula who is the owner of Hotel Transylvania in Romania, a five-star resort for the world’s monsters. Hotel Transylvania has an all start cast so it’s packed with good comedy, drama and a great sound track, really looking forward to this one!

Disney Tangled Ever After Animated Short Film

Make sure you catch the sneak peek of animated short from Disney entitled Tangled Ever After that will be premiering in theaters before Beauty and the Beast 3D January 13, 2012. Tangled Ever After is an upcoming film sequel of the 2010 film Tangled. The short is directed by Byron Howard and Nathan Greno who directed the original film.

Rapunzel and Eugene are preparing for their wedding. When Pascal and Maximus lose their gold bands, a frenzied search and recovery mission gets underway. As the desperate duo tries to find the rings before anyone discovers that they’re missing.

Wow check out the buns on this burger! French fast food chain “Quick” has a very cool promotion to go along with the release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D which hits theaters February 10, 2012. The special burgers consist of Darth Vader burger, Sith “Dark” burger and the Jedi burger unfortunately these are only available in France but maybe American fast food chains will catch on to the black burger trend.

Marvel’s The Avengers movie new photos

Take a look at the latest photo releases off the set of the new Marvel movie The Avengers‘s one of the most anticipated SuperHero movies to date. 2012 will be an exciting year for nostalgic films. The two new photos from Marvel‘s The Avengers features Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Starks aka the Iron Man, flying through the city and the second photo featuring Thor played by Chris Hemsworth & Captain America/Steve Rogers played by Chris Evans launch into battle. Marvel’s The Avengers hits theaters in 3D on May 4, 2012.

The Avengers is directed by Joss Whedon and Produced by Kevin Feige and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures Marvel Studios.
