Martin Scorsese gets to take home a Golden Globe for Best Director for a Motion Picture for the 3D animated film Hugo. This was Scorsese’s first film shot in 3D based on Brian Selznick’s novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret about a boy who lives alone in a Paris railway station and the enigmatic owner of a toy shop. Hugo was also Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil production company. Congratulations to Martin Scorsese!

Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, known for his work on Cartoon Network’s Samurai Jack and Dexter’s Laboratory. The story follows Dracula who is the owner of Hotel Transylvania in Romania, a five-star resort for the world’s monsters. Hotel Transylvania has an all start cast so it’s packed with good comedy, drama and a great sound track, really looking forward to this one!

Wow check out the buns on this burger! French fast food chain “Quick” has a very cool promotion to go along with the release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D which hits theaters February 10, 2012. The special burgers consist of Darth Vader burger, Sith “Dark” burger and the Jedi burger unfortunately these are only available in France but maybe American fast food chains will catch on to the black burger trend.

The two new photos from Marvel‘s The Avengers features Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Starks aka the Iron Man, flying through the city and the second photo featuring Thor played by Chris Hemsworth & Captain America/Steve Rogers played by Chris Evans launch into battle. Marvel’s The Avengers hits theaters in 3D on May 4, 2012.
