Tyler Dumas “Castle” poster is available in a variety of formats with a starting price $120.00 – $175.00 for framed editions. Tyler Dumas said: “The poster was inspired by [Mary Blair's] beautiful use of color and geometric shapes,” explained Tyler. “I thought it would be interesting if the castle was constructed out of children’s wood building blocks. Some blocks develop a worn feel after years of play, so you have the bright colors with the texture of the wood coming through.”
Google co-founder Sergey Brin’s Pink Batman Tesla Model S

Google co-founder Sergey Brin (net worth $23 billion) was spotted driving a Tesla (the world fastest electric vehicles) around LinkedIn headquarters on Thursday afternoon. Which would have been some what normal IF the Tesla Model S wasn’t pink, with Batman wings and eyelashes? seriously come on! nothing screams The Dark Knight more than pink and eyelashes! Some say this was a belated Aprils Fools joke on Brin’s part, considering he posted on his Google+ page saying: “Huh. I don’t remember Batman fins as an option when I configured my Tesla.” Supposedly representatives at Google are looking into the matter and could not immediately provide comment. Tesla Motors currently does not offer its Model S in pink according to its website.
Ralph Bakshi’s The Last Days of Coney Island

Animator Ralph Bakshi is back with an all-new animated “horror” short called The Last Days of Coney Island a story that takes place back in the 1960’s when Coney Island, New York was crowded with crooked cops, broken hearts, jaded strippers, and singers. Bakshi has reached out through Kickstarter to raise money to fund The Last Days of Coney Island. The project has a $165,000 goal with hopes to make its debut in December 2013. It’s also rumored that Matthew Modine, Jack Nicholson, Abel Ferrara, and Quentin Tarantino has shown interest in the project as well.
Now be forewarned Bakshi doesn’t make animation for kids examples Fritz the Cat and Heavy Traffic were initially X-rated in their day. While Bakshi believes that an animation could be treated just as seriously as any adult drama, which you can see through his like Wizards, the animated version of Lord of the Rings, American Pop, and Fire and Ice. Bakshi last movie he produced was 1992′s Cool World with Brad Pitt. I am very excited to see what The Last Days of Coney Island as in store considering I live down the street from CI.
I have posted a few rough storyboard panels, random character designs, original backgrounds along with clips from The Last Days of Coney Island straight off the desk of Ralph Bakshi below. Oh also if you pledge through Kickstater to found this project Bakshi will send you sketch!
