Here is a cool video that I’m assuming is a promotional ad for Toys R Us in Hong Kong. Featuring an American rap style video showcasing all the cool new Hasbro Avengers toys that are out now just in time for Marvel Avengers movie in May. To continue celebration of GIF’s check out this youtube video “A 25th Anniversary GIF Mashup set to 8-bit Dubstep” produced by Off Book a PBS special. OFF Book compiled some of the more recognizable GIFs that we have all used at least once or twice or even seen. They mashed them all together threw in some 8-bit Dubset type sounds by Known To Be Lethal to fit the perplexity of the pixels. Check out the original story I wrote about Animated GIFs: The Birth of a Medium by Off Book. Both equally cool videos a must see.
DreamWorks Rise of the Guardians First Look Trailer

Whoa Rise of the Guardians looks like its going to be an epic magical film I just watch the trailer…four times in a row already. The characters are a great combination. It seems so surreal having the The Easter Bunny (who sounds Australian), The Tooth Fairy (who has some nice pearly whites), the Sandman or is that the Boogeyman (as a good guy?) and Santa Claus (Who apparently is Eastern European descent) joining forces to save the children of world. This is probably one of the best story-lines ever imagined so far is surpasses any that I have seen. Bring your childhood mythical creatures to life. These are all stories we can relate to in one way or another. I got chills from this movie I’m still a bit worked up over it. Movies like this bring magic to reality. “So as long as you believe in the they will guide you with all of their lives.” So deep. The film will be in 3D and hits theaters November 21, 2012. Based on William Joyce’s The Guardians of Childhood book series. Produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. there is not an embed code yet for the trailer so check out the link to the trailer below.

The Lorax Statue Stolen from Dr. Seuss’ House

The home of Audrey Geisel and the late Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss) oceanfront La Jolla, Encelia Drive estate in San Diego had been burglarized Tuesday. A 200-pound, 2-foot-tall bronze custom “Lorax” statue has been stolen from the front yard. Audrey Geisel and a groundskeeper discovered the missing from the garden of on Monday morning, and called the San Diego police. The statue is irreplaceable, as the mold was destroyed after it was made. There are three similar statues, but not identical. The 200-pound piece, one of two commissioned by the author’s stepdaughter, is valued at $10,000. Pretty messed up if you ask me now it will be sold for a ton of money and sit inside some toy collectors house that has an abundance of material objects from around the world. When it just meant to sit a in garden as reminder of Audrey husband the late great Dr. Seuss. So sad I despise people who steal. I really hope they find ht people and prosecute them.

Pete Docter’s Flipbook sets are great idea if you love looking behind the scenes of great Disney films and or you love flipbooks. It’s very rare that you come across something as cool as a traditional flipbook and these are no exception paying homage to Walt Disney’s original animators known as the Nine Old Men: Les Clark, Eric Larson, Frank Thomas, John Lounsbery, Ward Kimball, Ollie Johnston, Mark Davis, Wolfgang Reitherman, and Milt Kahl. Where you one the hundreds of turtles to show up at Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America on March 17, 2012? The Turtles set a new Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ever! Turtles from around the country came to celebrate the grand opening of the new Nickelodeon SHELL SHOCK thrill ride. Check out these amazing photos that have finally surfaced. It looks like everyone was given TMNT shirts and mask…from the news prior I thought they expected you to bring/make your own costume? Well I’m sure they got to keep the super cool apparel! What lucky ducks I mean turtles!

OPI Nail Liqueur is at it again always coming up with clever color combinations to suit the animation inside of us. Now if you thought Mickey Mouse ears were not enough to show your Disney spirit. OPI has formulated a whole new line of shades inspired by the fashionable Mini Mouse. I mean she has been in-style since the 50′s, who doesn’t one at least one polka-dot-dress and/or love the colors red white and black? Disney‘s Mini Mouse is a timeless classic when it comes to fashion. The new shades have not dropped into stores yet, but I will keep you posted as the dates become clear. I’m pretty sure it will be different shades of red, black and white…but what other colors do you think they will add to the collection?
New Official Trailer for Sony Hotel Transylvania

Have you heard about Hotel Transylvania yet? I posted the first leak of the Russian trailer a couple of weeks ago. Sony has dropped finally dropped the new American trailer today. For 3D animated comedy about the non-humans only monsters resort. But all of that is compromised when a human tourist stumbles upon the resort accidentally and has to pretend to be something he isn’t in front of a bunch of scary guest. Plus finds himself in a romantic relation shit with the head of the resort Count Dracula daughter he’s gonna have a lot of explaining to do (ops but that part wasn’t in the trailer!) This star filled cast features voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, David Koechner, Cee Lo Green, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon and David Spade. Hits theaters September 28, 2012. Now that I have seen the American trailer the Russian one makes so much more sense. Check the official trailer below.
