DOMO POP Vinyl x DC Comics

Japan’s NHK television station mascot DOMO is making headlines in toys new today with a possible collaboration with POP Vinyl, but this is just not any cross over the two will be teaming up with DC Comics. The collaboration will feature DOMO in various iconic DC Comic characters. My favorite is the Dark Knight one of course!

Heirs of Superman Lose Battle Over Copyrights

The ruling Wednesday, October 17, 2012 regarding heirs of Superman artist Joe Shuster who had been fighting in court to reclaim the copyrights of DC Comics. U.S. District Judge Otis Wright II ruled the rights to Superman had been relinquished more than two decades ago. Meaning that DC Comics and Warner Bros. are the rightful owners and will retain all rights to continue using the character in books, films, television and other mediums. Superman’s co-creators signed away their ability to reclaim copyrights to the Man of Steel over 20 years ago. Shuster and writer Jerry Siegel created Superman in 1938 in Action Comics #1. Back in April, the $412 check that DC Comics wrote to acquire Superman and other creative works by Shuster and Siegel sold for $160,000 in an online auction. Man of Steel directed by Zach Snyder is scheduled to hit theaters in 2013.
CW: Arrow – New Clip

Check out the new action pack clip from the CW Channel featuring the new live-action series Arrow! based off the DC Comics story created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp. With only a month away justice returns wearing a green hood. Don’t miss the series premiere of Arrow Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 8 p.m. on The CW. What do you think of the shirtless promo poster? I don’t understand why they felt the need to expose a superhero in such manner. Check out the trailer below.
DC Comics x PEZ Candy Dispensers

With the huge success of Christopher Nolan’s conclusions The Dark Knight trilogy and his upcoming project Man of Steal. PEZ has jumped on bored with the Batman craze and I am absolutely loving the new DC Comic PEZ candy dispensers especially the Catwoman full bust. I must have! The set includes 4 full bust PEZ dispenser: Catwoman, Batman, Green Lantern and Superman. Then there is the classic head PEZ featuring: Batman, Joker, Riddler and Two Face which I highly recommend Joker or Two Face. It will be probably hard to find these in stores so I suggest just ordering them through PEZ’s website for $1.79 USD, the Marvel ones sold out pretty quick. Check out the collection below which one is your favorite?
Medicom x DC Comics: Classic Batman/Joker Collection

Funny how I just thinking about the Medicom x DC Comics Collection this past weekend while waiting in line for The Dark Knight Rises. I was wishing I had the Joker HA! HA! tee, I need to go to Japan asap and start stocking up on Medicom. I am really feeling this classic Batman and Joker collection especially the Joker stuff. Medicom expanded the collection from just tee-shirts to: tote bags, back packs, wallets, pencil cases, travel cases, fanny packs, camera bags and even a 4 styles of pillows. I really want the Joker tote and one of the travel cases. It looks like material varies on the collection from vinyl to canvas and the pillows are probably a cotton blend. I am not one 100% positive but either way the Joker/Batman monogram really rocks and I love the HA! HA! it’s a perfect addition. Check out the full collection below let me know which one is your favorite. The collection will be available starting in July 2012.

Wow I am so in love with all the new exclusive LEGO Minifigures that were unveiled today at the San Diego Comic Con 2012. Check out all the minifigs below.
Havaianas DC Comics Heroes

I am a bit obsessed with Batman fashion these days but I really have no money to start my own collection so I can just dream I recently came across some cool collaborations Havaianas did for Disney characters and even the Muppets and to come to find out they did one with DC Comics Batman and I am not a fan of flip flips out side of a boardwalk or beach only cause of that annoying sound they make going down stairs. But these Batman/joker Havaianas are pretty hot. I deff want a pair I wish they made the adult versions with the strap on the heel like they do for kids.
Medicom DC Comics Batman Tee’s

So these are the first Batman tee-shirts I have seen in a while that I actually like (and wish I had)! Japanese toy company Medicom teamed up with DC Comics to produce a collection of graphic tee-shirt based more off the popular culture 1980′s Batman iconic figure look. The collection features three shirts 2 Batman shirts in white and 1 Joker shirt in black. I think my favorite would have to be the joker tee. What about you which one would you rock? The shirts will be available in July off the Medicom website for ¥2,625 which is approximately 33.00 in USD. Check out the shirts below.
