The Simpsons theme park expansion is all in the news and I have to admit I find it pretty cool. The news came awhile ago that The Simpsons were set to take over Universal Studios Florida this summer. The expansion will cover the area surrounding The Simpsons Ride and will feature several iconic establishments straight out of Springfield, like Moe’s Tavern, Krusty Burger, the Frying Dutchman, Luigi’s Pizza, Lard Lad, and The Android’s Dungeon – home Comic Book Guy. Also added to the expansion will also include Duff Beer, brewed exclusively for the park, Krusty the Clown and Sideshow Bob. Plus a new attraction called Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl, will be something you might see out of the Treehouse of Horrors. First Look At Disney’s Big Hero 6

Here is a frist look at Walt Disney Animation Studios upcoming CG-animated film titled “Big Hero 6″ inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name. Big Hero 6 is a comedy adventure that fallows the story of the brilliant robotics prodigy named Hiro Hamada and his companion—a robot named Baymax—Hiro. The two find themselves in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy their high-tech city San Fransokyo. The two join forces as first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city. The Marvel comic Big Hero 6 debuted September 1998 and was created by Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau in the pages of Alpha Flight, volume 2. Big Hero 6 the movie hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014. Check out the clip below.

Seth Meyers The Awesomes – Hulu Original Animated Series
Comedian Seth Meyers and Mike Shoemaker (SNL) have created an all-new half-hour animated series called “The Awesomes” that will be premiering exclusively on Hulu.com starting August 1, 2013. Patrons of San Diego Comic Con will get a sneak peek in July at a special panel screening. The Awesomes series, revolves around the greatest superhero team in history, then follows what happens after all the most powerful members leave. Check out the character descriptions along with a 2 minute preview below.

5th Annual Summer of Sony: SMURFS 2!
Columbia Pictures takes the Smurfs gang and the Naughties on a belated break to Cancun Mexico to promote at the 5th Annual Summer of Sony: SMURFS 2! The cast and crew Katy Perry, Hank Azaria, and Neil Patrick Harris enjoyed the surf, turf, and Smurf alongside director Raja Gosnell and producer Jordan Kerner enjoyed photos ops in the beautiful Mexican sun, in front of a huge pop-up Smurf set/backdrop on the beach, which featured a huge Smurf statute a blue replica of the Eiffel Tower. The Smurfs 2 is an upcoming 2013 American 3D family comedy film and a sequel to the 2011 film The Smurfs. Based on The Smurfs comic book series created by the Belgian comics artist Peyo, it will be the second film in the The Smurfs trilogy, produced by Sony Pictures Animation and distributed by Columbia Pictures. The film is being directed again by Raja Gosnell, with all the main cast returning. New cast includes Christina Ricci and J. B. Smoove as members of the Naughties, and Brendan Gleeson as Patrick Winslow’s stepfather. The film is set for release on July 31, 2013. R.I.P Jonathan Winters who voiced Papa Smurf died on April 11, 2013.
