Medicom x DC Comics The Dark Knight Rises 400% Be@rbrick May 2013

Medicom in collaboration with DC Comics has dropped some really cool new merchandise to kick start the New Year! first up is the Dark Knight Rises 400% Be@rbrick. Based on Christopher Nolan’s interpretation of Batman as the Dark Knight.
The Dark Knight Rises 400% Be@rbrick stands approximately 280mm (28cm).
Set to release in May of 2013 make sure you keep an eye out for this, it is a must have for any Batman buff!
Medicom Toy Be@rbrick PEANUTS Collection

On October 2, 2012 Charles Schulz popular for his “PEANUTS” comic will celebrate its 62nd birthday. To pay homage to one of the most beloved comic series of all time Medicom Toy will produce a special collection of Be@rbricks featuring the iconic characters Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus. The retail price is ¥ 1,575 which approximately $249.00 USD and will be sold starting October 10, 2012, through various online dealers. Check out more pictures below.
Doraemon x Medicom Toy the World Wide Tour 2 the Osaka Bearbrick 100%, 400% & 1000%

Continuing the Doraemon 100 years before the birth of the Festival “exhibition as well as the Hong Kong brand following Harbour City. Medicom Toy has produced a Doraemon Be@rbrick three different sizes, 100%, 400% and 1000% versions, priced at ¥ 1,575, ¥ 6,090 and ¥ 29,400 yen, part of the World Wide Tour 2 Osaka. Set to release October 3, 2012 and only 1,000 made, so grab them fast!
Wonder Festival Neon Genesis Evangelion Be@rbrick 400%

Not exactly San Diego Comic Con news but equally as worthy considering the piece. The Wonder Festival starting July 29, 2012 in Tokyo will feature a Medicom Toy booth. And the two have collaborated with Neon Genesis Evangelion to offer a limited edition Evangelion Be@rbrick in 400%. With 200 units sold at the event and 600 units will be sold online at project 1/6 in Japan.
Be@rbrick Series 24 – Anne Hathaway Catwoman

Here is a preview of the new Be@rbirck Series 24 line only available in Japan through the Medicom website. The one very special figure that stands out from the up coming series in 100% Be@rbrick’s which is mostly an artist collection is an Anne Hathaway Catwoman variation. Part of the epic Batman saga from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. I was very excited to see this piece it is very much on point with the original characteristic of the film. Japanese toy company Medicom is always on the latest popular culture trends, their most recent collaboration is with Marvel called the “Happy Lottery” Be@rbrick collection. Featuring iconic superheroes and super villains like: Venom, Iron Man, Magneto, The Thing, Invisible Woman, Green Goblin, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Phoenix, Storm, Cyclops and other various variations of Marvel characters, in 400% and 100% editions. Individual pricing starts at ¥500 JPY which is approximately $6.00 USD. I’m not sure when these come out either or if they are already out. Take a look at the full collection below.

Here is a picture of the latest Medicom Be@brick and Kaws Original Fake collaboration in 1000% featuring an all over Kaws Original Fake mouth and teeth. This piece will coincide with the Original Fake 6th Anniversary Be@rbrick cerebration. No official release date information as of yet. I will keep you posted as more info arrives.

Designer Fred Perry and Japanese toy company Be@rbrick along with Lipton Tea Japan division Smart Times milk tea drink have collaborated to give a special gift each time your purchase a refreshing drink. This collection is celebrating Lipton 60 years. You get a free (well it’s not entirely free you have to pay for the drink) mini-Be@rbrick key-chain or phone-strap whatever you want to call it. Each one supporting a trendy Fred Perry outfit, in this five plus one series. Unfortunately these can only be picked up in Asian countries. So have one of your Japanese pin-pals send you one!
Medicom Toy Gummi Be@rbricks

Japanese company Medicom Toy known for it’s collectable Be@rbricks vinyl toys is going on a more sweeter approach and has launched the Gummi Be@rbricks, a candy version of the popular toy. Gummi Be@rbricks cost about ¥399 ($5 USD) and come in assorted flavors like cola, strawberry, lemon, and cider. They candies are not yet available in the US, only in Asia maybe with Valentines days and Easter coming up they will get the hint* Gummi Be@rbricks stand about 40 mm in height.

Medicom Toys Be@rbrick Xmas Disney Mickey Mouse 100% 400% Toy

Medicom Toy teams up with Disney this Holiday season to produce a series of Be@rbrick 100% and 400% vinyl toys. Some of Disney’s most popular characters Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy, Goofy, Winnie The Pooh are dressed up in Christmas themes and colors. The official launch was November 14th, 2011. You can catch these holiday be@r’s in Japan there is a special showcase of the Be@rbricks at 7-11.
