McDonald’s Skylanders Happy Meal Toys – Images
Earlier this month I posted about the latest McDonald’s Happy Meal Toys featuring Activision‘s popular Skylanders characters. I am ecstatic that Activision hit me up with high resolutions images of the Happy Meal figures to share which feature Spyro, Gill Grunt, Drobot, Chop Chop, Ignitor, Jet-Vac, Tree Rex, Crusher and Kaos. Though these 9 collectables character figures are not usable in the game, they will have dexterity with their limbs! In addition to the Skylanders Giants Happy Meal figures a special coupon offer of $10 off the Skylanders Giants starter pack is included. And what’s great about this collaboration is, even if your kids aren’t hungry you can still pick up a Sklyanders figure for just $1! I dunno about but I’ll be getting a Skylanders toy and some fires! Skylanders Giants and Skylanders Dragons Easter Eggs Sleeves (Holders)
Ok I know this might be a bit late but I found some awesome Easter Eggs sleeves/holders featuring my favorite videogame characters the Skylanders Dragons and Giants! Activision Skylanders SWAP FORCE Preview Event @ Nasdaq Market Place – Recap
Earlier today I was invited by Activison to their preview party where they announce the latest addition to Skylanders interactive “toys to life” innovation with the all-new SWAP FORCE (giving Disney Infinity a run for their money). The event was a collaboration with Toys R Us at Nasdaq Market Place in Times Square, which also coincided with a kids event over at Toy ‘R Us next door. There was tons of tasty treats and refreshments flowing along with a preview of new, never-before-seen exclusive Skylanders merchandise. Media got a taste of what is in-store for the franchise debuting Fall 2013, with a demos of featuring the new characters swaps plus introduction to new characters Blast Zone, Countdown, Wash Buckler and more! also President of Toys ’R Us CEO Jerry Storch was on deck answering questions.

Skylanders SWAP FORCE Exclusive Pre Toy Fair Preview, Blast Zone, Countdown and Wash Buckler
Moresay was lucky enough to get an exclusive sneak peek at the brand new Skylanders SWAP FORCE that will be making its exclusive debute at the 2013 New York Toy Fair next week. Skylanders is “mixing it up” with the newest game SWAP FORCE which builds upon the success of the franchise’s signature gameplay and collectible toy experience and adds a dimension to the “toys to life” innovation. Plus taking you on all-new adventure in the mysterious Cloudbreak Islands.
Skylanders SWAP Force features new abilities – such as flying, climbing, digging, bouncing and teleporting that can be used on previous characters. SWAP Force also introduces you to an all-new play pattern with dynamic swapability allowing gamers reconfigure 16 SWAP Force inter-action figures, into more than 250 unique characters by swapping the top and bottom halves of the toys. Using the new characters in fun new combinations like Wash Buckler, Magna Buckler which is a mix of Magna Charge’s energy blast attack with Wash Buckler’s tentacles (picture below).
Skylanders Giants, the sequel to Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure is the #1 best-selling kids’ game of 2012. Activision figures have outsold the top action figure lines in the toy category in the U.S., outselling such popular toy lines as Beyblades, WWE and Star Wars.
Activison Skylanders SWAP Force will be featured at Toy Fair 2013, February 10-13 at the Javits Center in New York City, in booth 3061.

Disney Infinity Official Trailer
In a special event at Disney El Capitan Theatre yesterday in Hollywood, California, Disney Interactive unveiled the highly-anticipated upcoming video game called Disney Infinity. Which allows players to take control of Disney characters from classic animated films to modern day Pixar movies, and explore open worlds interacting together.
Using real life figurines, players will be able to combine the many worlds of Disney across consoles, mobile devices, and online. Disney Infinity releases in June 2013 with 3 virtual play sets Monsters University, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Incredibles. A total of 20 character figurines will be released throughout the year.
The concept is similar to Activision popular Skylanders series.
Disney Infinity will be available in Summer 2013 on all major gaming platforms including PS3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Nintendo 3DS.
